Manchester United vs Liverpool Build up

So itís a big wait until the United away match at their place on a Sunday the 20th.

I was going to wait for FB to kick it off but if he sees how bad of a job weíre doing he might get motivated again, wink wink

So Alison is possibly available for this & hopefully Matip is back. If heís not it should be Lovren as he did well last time out. Question mark over Mo as well but Iím confident heíll be right to start. I imagine Bobby is away in Sth America playing yeah?

Alison
Trent
Joel
VVD
Robbo
James
Fab
Gini
Mo
Bobby
Sadio

Adrian
Lovren
Hendo
Naby
Divi
Joe

It could be Ole's last game, but we all hope not

I think they have to keep him a little longer only because of that

On a serious note, they will probably be motivated to work hard, and most likely have AWB, Pogba, Shaw and maybe Martial back, so this should be a better side than we've witnessed lately.

Yeah, but i only because of the size of the game, i don't see much motivation coming from Ole.

Its a shame the Int. break came before this as we'd have demolished that team that played against Newcastle and we always lose a bit of rhythm after a break. But even still.

Lets just hope everyone returns.

I think this game will be a lot tougher than everyone thinks.. 7 of Unitedís 9 points were from their 3 toughest games on paper- Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal. Point Iím making is that they compete in the bigger games- plus theyíll have some key players back.

I donít wanna be a negative nelly, and I do think we should beat them, hopefully stuff them.. I just donít think that the Newcastle game (or so many others) should be used to gauge what kinda game weíre in for.

Brazil will have both their matches played by this Sunday evening. They play Sadio's Senegal tomorrow, then Nigeria on Suanday.
So Bobby and Fabinho will be back in good time at least, and Alisson is staying at Melwood.

But then Senegal's other match is on the Friday (UK time) before the Utd game.
It's an African Nations Championship game versus Guinea (minus Keita, also staying at Melwood).

It's going to be a big ask for Mane to play Friday, travel Saturday and play again Sunday.
Think he'll have to start on the bench.

I think so too, although they were a bit fortunate against Chelsea, and our wining run will surely end someday.

If Salah is still injured, that could be quite a problem. Brewster?

Liverpool v Utd games are always tough to predict. However, iíve watched a few Utd games this season and they have been incredibly poor. Iím actually surprised how shit they are.

Still think this will be a difficult game. We've been poor at OT for a long time so we need to improve going there. They are terrible though at the moment but I imagine they'll lift their game for this one. Can't wait to see Fab clatter into their midfield one by one ha ha.

It will be a tough game, we can potentially put them in the relegation zone, maybe we might see Fergie in the dressing room again. Their biggest game of the season this is, anything to put a dent in our title challenge. I hope we go full fucking tilt and smash the life of them from minute one.

Yep. Anything less than a victory by 2 or more goals has got to be seen as a disappointment. Keep up this pressure on City, make them feel hopeless.

Eh? A spawny last minute penalty after being played off the pitch would do it for me. Anything more is a bonus.

Their former glory means little in their current position. They are a mid table team we should be brushing aside. Was more worried about Leicester last week.

We as fans need a more positive attitude to this team. Constantly worrying we might scrape past isnt that fun. Lets have fun and smash this little mid table club.

we are currently 15 points ahead of them after 9 games... we should be putting these to the sword.

I hope we turn up this year and try and win. Make it open, outscore them. They were on their fucking knees last season, with 3 injured and rash hobbling yet we hardly mustered a shot. No cagey set up. Go there and try and score 5. Kill the fucking cunts. A draw to these would be very disappointing. Would feel like a loss.

We're the European fuckin champions. Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard Webb brought back for this game but even so, we should surely win here.

If we get an early goal, we then I think they could lose their bollocks and we could get a few.

As long as we play our own game, we then we should win this.

I'm not worrying about anything.

United will be massively up for this. Whether they are shite and we are great doesn't come into it.

This is a cup final. Couldn't care less how we win it.

I don't particularly like when Hendo and Milner play in the same side.

Fabinho is a must. And I think the energy that Gini brings is important too.

Considering James Milner has just played an awesome game v Leicester, will have had 2 weeks without a game - and added to the fact that Henderson will feature for England - then I would probably start Milner too.

Henderson is a brilliant guy to have on the bench though - whether that is to come on and bring urgency if we need a goal - or to bring calm heads if we are defending a lead - then we have a good bench.

We have a lot of leadership in our team. More so than I can ever remember to be honest.
