Does that twat realise that Thiago's sibling is Rafinha (A full Brazil international) and probably doesn't need assistance getting ready for school.

Exactly. To be fair, whenever I've peeped in at RedCafe, they seem pretty sound. Biased, naturally, but they seem to know what they're talking about and have grudging respect for other teams where it's due. By contrast, Bluemoon is like some kind of psychiatric ward intranet.

Not a fan forum thing but just an observation...
It's incredible on my Twitter feed how almost all of the sound Man United fans I follow are all losing interest in the game and none of them tweet about football any more. There'll be games on and they're tweeting about Bake Off
Also, just had a meeting with a guy I work for....an absolutely *rabid* City fan who never stopped talking about City when they were winning everything. He said, and I quote, "I'm losing interest in the game now, the game's a joke. Not the same with no fans and the rules are a shambles, it's not football any more. No interest in it."

Same, although I was fuelled by a kind of anger and loathing of the man and that kept me going.

It got to the point for me during those years that our league season was practically over by mid-September, as far as challenging for the title was concerned, So I just gave up emotionally.
It happened in Rodgers last season and Klopp's first couple of seasons too.
Of course, I still watched the games out obligation. I just wanted that element frustration out of my life though. It's not healthy.

Yes, it started when van Gaal took over. Plenty of them said that they found it hard to watch 'boring, slow, possession' football. I'm sure it must look pretty good to them now.
Hodgson was a hard watch. Even when Kenny was managing and we had Downing and Carroll starting almost every week. The fall from grace was so fast, in two seasons we had gone from one of the best in Europe to a laughing stock with Konchesky and Poulsen.
I'd be lying to say that I have the same lust for football that I had before - I'm finding things a bit tedious with a million fouls called per game, players rolling around on the floor like they need legs amputated every few minutes and VAR slowing everything down. However, it's impossible not to love what Klopp is doing and how we're playing. As a football fan (from a non-Liverpool perspective) there are plenty of reasons to enjoy watching too.

I think the Hodgson era and when Brendan went to shit I was saying a lot of this sort of thing
But we had a reason FFS 30 years of waiting and was literally starting to look like it might not happen. Chucking it (or pretending to) when you win as recently as 2 seasons ago or had decades of dominance is lame.
Suck it up losers!

You weren't alone. For a spell on here match threads were a competition to see who can come up with the most tedious excuse not to watch a game.

This has gone way beyond negotiating good deals, something is just not adding up! Top quality players have been sold for similar prices this window - Semedo, Alcantara, Dest etc. there is no way, absolutely no way that Brewster would be valued at 23m, there's something diabolical going on here and since we are now in the footballing cold war / espionage era (certain clubs having de spigel do the dirty on us, hacking our transfer system, having hackers look through our sponsorship, external influence on the CAS, hateful eight having clandestine meetings to sabotage us) I think its time we get into the mud ourselves and fight back. We have the capacity and network to shake up some trees and then see what falls. These transfers need to be looked into. No way clubs keep paying silly money for the likes of Solanke, Brewster while they keep "striking gold" by paying paltry amounts for reputable players. Lots of under the table movements here and it needs to be looked into and exposed........not by us of course!

Just reading some of the comments on an article on the BBC and saw this:
Quote:
Let's look at Liverpool. How many players are genuine world beaters on an international level, even the front three - none. No Messis, no Ronaldos, not even a Hazard at Chelsea or a De Bruyne. Mane isn't taking Sengal anywhere, nor Salah Egypt. Hendo, Wijnaldum, et al are the Tom Cleverleys under Fergie. This issue is as much about elite level coaching as it is player acquisition.

The funny thing about United fans is their opinions on the Glazers if they sign players and have some success then total silence, but no big transfers and poor results kicking off in their green and gold. You either want them out or not lads.
Absolute load of entitled bastards with the success they've had over the years. I was excited going to uefa cup games and hoping we'd get to a league cup final growing up whilst they were routinely champions and in the champions league. I was jealous but I think got a much better grounding.
Football fans from every club in the country would kill for 10% of their success and they feel hard done by.

I just had a quick count - the Liverpool thread for this season has 1798 posts. The combined total of Wolves, West Ham, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton, Man U, and, Leeds (all the PL teams on the first two pages) is 1792

Gotta stop reading this shit...
Been saying this for a while, how did Palace afford that Benteke fee and why, when he was worse than Bony was for us at Liverpool? Even when teams know they are desperate to get them off the books, they still manage good fees, something isn't right and it's not just Liverpool.
Wouldn't that be a great way to cheat FFP?
Liverpool fans: "We cheated FFP the right way"
I don't care what the Liverpool apologists on here say, they are a vile club and I don't trust them.

I don't trust the cunts. They could be super spreading through the league.
No way will the PL award other teams points against them for the corona. Teams like us and West Ham will be though.

Really? The club that had positive tests are were allowed to change their team?
Teir forum is littered with this mentality that they get treated so much more unfairly than anyone else yet they still use the 'victim' jibe against us.

Do we need a thread taking the piss out of other fan forums? There's a lot to take the piss out of but isn't it the forum equivalent of other fans singing about us when playing other teams? Or the equivalent of Redcafe having a Rawk thread?
I dont have strong feelings on it but it doesn't feel very esty. Would rather have the odd post taking the piss in the relevant club thread. And on that note, I'm off to find the Man City thread (and ask why bluemoon keeps referencing the Lyon game as when Pep might have lost the dressing room )
