West Ham 2-1 Spurs FT
If the likes of West Ham and Everton get CL this imo will really harm uefa’s premier competition

No comment on BT other than 'that's a peno'
I honestly think we are a playing a different sport to everyone else.

Nah....minimal contact.
Threw himself into the air. And was more or less congratulated for doing so. Saint Rashford can do no wrong after all.
BT immediately went with the rash challenge angle, but when the replay followed.......'uh....maybe a bit of a disservice to the player'
Call it what it fucking is.....cheating.

Mancs have worked out the system with var tbh. Wasn’t a pen only a one eyed clown would think it was but the system allows things to be locked at or not depending on the requirements

The Mancs haven't worked out the system. They've created the fucking thing. Emperor Riley running the show, pulling the puppet strings.
The league is corrupt. Half the refs are on the take, the other half aren't fit to referee an u12's game. Var's been brought in around Europe to iron out these little mistakes, but in this league it's just allowed the corruption to take full hold. There are just laughable decisions being made every weekend.

I didn't watch their match but I am assuming that the on field official gave a penalty and for me that's where the problem lies. As I said in the VAR thread the burden of proof to change a decision is so high that effectively as the pen has been given the only way it is overturned is if there is no contact. Here the contact is minimal, but it is there. If the on field official says no pen then there isn't enough proof for VAR to overturn it.
The whole shitty system still comes down to how likely the on field official is to give a penalty to certain teams or certain players. We have seen all season the willingness of on field officials to give these types of soft decisions to Man Utd which VAR can't overturn, similar incidents for us for example aren't given on the field and similarly VAR can't overturn, and this is a massive problem for consistency team to team across the league. The idea that VAR levels out these decisions is bullshit the rules allow it to have little opportunity to change questionable decisions.

Chelsea, City and Bayern are our path to travel upon if we are to win it. Mystic Jaco say it is so.
So it shall be written, so it shall be done.
Damn that was difficult not to break into Creeping Death lyrics.

I think it could be City's year. They look so strong and alll their injuries have seemed to clear up now for the run in.

Cheeky fuckers saying out achievement was worthy of an asterisk despite being 25 clear with 30 to play for before suspension of the season. The last 10 years of theirs should have it for the massive financial doping. Their declared wage bill is the biggest lie in sporting history.

Might have done it here to be fair to them.....unless VAR steps in with 5mins left
It's given. Auba might have rescued them.

Good win and recovery from them. Benfica should be kicking themselves considering the position they found themselves.

West Ham playing quite well 1-1 at HT away at City.
Realising we really need City to win is quite alien. I just can’t support them. But them winning is better for us.

what a game hahaha,
BHA two missed pens, mason having a mare & disallowing a goal he has blown the whistle to restart the game ( reckon he shat himself at Big Sam looking for him in an empty stadium).

What a cluster fuck that was. So the ref blew and it was taken and scored, and then he blew again after it went in because he panicked about his first whistle. There is no possible way that can be disallowed without breaking rules to cover up the initial error. I see they've taken the brave approach of claiming alternative facts and said the second whistle went before the ball went in the goal, but that's BS. And what was the second whistle for, there was no infringement, and yet there was a free kick awarded. Mistake followed by a mistake 2 seconds later, followed by a cover-up with VAR.
Got to love Nuno
