Astonishing self-destruct from PSG. Would be comfortably now if they took their first half chances

Foden is some talent. I haven't seen much of City this season but when I have he's been a stand out.

what happens when you play shite 90% of the year; could see it coming TBH, 1st half they expelled so much energy there was no way they ere keeping that up. Reminded me of a pre premier league facup game between div 1 side & div 3 side; all huff & puff for 60 mins then when legs go Div 1 side pick them off.

Sorry Ken - that was a shocker challenge and a straight red. PSG shat the bed and City upped it........not sure which is worse, City or Chelsea. Maybe City

The sickening reality of hoping that it’s Chelsea that win the CL final is looking all too close.

Hope both ties get turned around in the 2nd legs, especially PSG v City

City definitely worse option.

Good job it will be a final with no fans so if they do win they won’t get the full experience.

But. PSG look great, except for Navas. I wouldn’t rule them out, they create lots but seemingly take few chances. Was same v Bayern.

PSG, City, Real or Chelsea for the CL FFS. The devil is serving us some pretty thin gruel.

Thanks Fifa, Uefa; you & not the ESL have fucked football forever.... I jut hope my son doesn't get as entwinned with football as i have; there really is very little point in top level football with no spending restrictions in place.

His biggest talent is rivaling Gareth Bale for most-monkey like ears.

It was a genuine attempt to get the ball, and it was there for the taking when he went for the tackle. He was guilty of not predicting that the defenders leg was about to move into the way. Everything looks calculated when watched in slow-mo, but it didn't look deliberate to me. Maybe it's still due a red card for force of whatever, but I thought KDB's yellow was just as bad, not so much force, but he knew exactly where the leg he landed on was.

It's very impressive the way that they have brought him through to the first team. Helps when you have worldies galore, but when he started being hyped, they didn't play him for ages, and then introduced him very slowly, mainly training with the first team until he was ready to be a starter.

I hear ya - remember VVD vs Napoli and Kompany vs us - both similar and ended in yellows. The game was against them at that stage and had started to get a but nasty so I thought he left something in

Two of the scabbiest goals imaginable for City. Reminded me of United. A cross that went straight in and a wall that inexplicably moved out of the way of the shot.

They're so solid at the back though City, I've got to give them that.

Shocking decision. Mic the cunts up ASAP and then we can know what their thinknig is. ?Its grotesque arrogance of football to think they can do this shit better than other sports. It works in cricket. it works in rugby.

Denying a goal scoring opportunity by successfully winning the ball?

How awful of the defender. This isn't a non fucking competitive sports day

I think it’s more to do with how City play. They keep the ball forever, therefore conserve energy. Of course, their strength in depth and quality count, but never stopped more or less the same team trail us by 18 points last year.

That's not really the point that's being made though Fredo. Without the resources available City couldn't make the changes and still remain effective.

My youngest making his debut as a GK today. He only took it up 4 weeks ago.

He seems fine. I’m nervous.

they do not compromise whatsoever when they rotate, it's a huge advantage. Functional rotation throughout the season with little drop off in quality. That's what happens when you buy with a blank cheque and can pay any amount of wages... you end up with high quality players throughout the entire squad.

Fredo does have a point about their possession football and conserving energy. Although we dominate games possession wise too but when we have had to rotate this season, injuries and lack of quality has left us bare bones and knackered. Scary thing is they are going to buy a worldie striker this summer too.

Yeah but the second part couldn't be implemented without the quality in depth. It's not a level playing field which is what the person that tweeted was making a point about

1-5 defeat.

Made no obvious mistakes from him, I’ll settle for that. They went 1 up and missed a few chances. Late flurries of goals in each half did for them.

Utd letting Donny van de Beek, their £40m midfield answer to Ben Davies, get his first start in Europe for them. He also has 2 PL starts all season.

There’s always something funny about a sacked manager beating his former side. This time it was for a place in a final Fuck off Arsenal. Congrats Alberto Moreno.
