Best header I remember seeing is that Suarez one at West Brom, from just outside the box, where the cross was fired at him from close range by Sissoko and the instinctive header started off outside the post and curled in to the top corner. At that point, everything Luis touched just turned to gold.

If peak-Gerrard played central midfield with 2 of Fabinho, Thiago and Hendo behind him, it would be simply epic.
With Carragher, I am not sure he would have got in Jurgens team. Does he have the pace???

There’s absolutely no doubt about it, Jaime carragher wouldn’t have been good enough to be the 4th CB in this team had he come through in this era.
He wasn’t technically good enough or fast enough.

Imagine TAA and Gerrard smashing up the right hand side, with Salah coming in to a central area.

Too slow for the first eleven, we couldn't play that high a line with Carragher in the team, we'd get murdered.

We would probably drop off a bit like when Nat was playing rather than let other teams murder us

Another two for Solanke today taking him to 24 for the season. Looks like he could be coming back up to the PL next season.

It'll be interesting to see how he does if he comes back to the PL. He had a difficult couple of seasons in the PL with Bournemouth after not getting minutes here (or at Chelsea) , but he's had a good couple of years in the Championship. It will be interesting to see if he is now fulfilling his potential or if he has found his level.

It's mad to think that the last time we played in an FA Cup final Spearing started in it.

Xabi quits Real Sociedad - seems he's joining Villa to be Gerrard's assistant. Wow.

Assuming Gerrard does get the LFC job down the line you'd imagine Beale will probably rejoin him and Alonso. Gary Mac to put the cones out
