lol @ Arsenal

That was an absurd bottle by the ref, even if he didn't see it as a red not giving a yellow in the modern game for that was

Regardless, Brighton were pretty good, Arsenal are a joke

I'm going to go out on a limb as I don't think it was a foul,or a bookable offence, nevermind a red. Eyes on the ball, no real use of the arm before the contact, just a collision. First angle is the clearest.

I think Wenger will be pinning his hopes on the Europa League. If they lose against Milan, they're screwed.

Kolasinac elbow attack to Brighton player(Schelotto). HORRIBLE - YouTube
The second angle shows that he completely takes him out though? And he takes his eyes off the ball to make the shoulder charge. He literally sizes the Brighton player up.

I just see one player bouncing off the other and think it's a stretch to infer such intent.

I disagree, he was clearly aware of the opposition player as he was in the same basic sightline and leads with his elbow and shoulder, dangerous and a second yellow all day for me.

Mane had his eyes on the ball against City.

It's nothing like the Mane situation. I don't see him leading with his elbow from either angle, he's prepared for a shoulder to shoulder coming together and the Brighton player isn't, hence the crazy bounce. He goes towards the ball and he wins the ball. I honestly don't see either intent or recklessness, he was just stronger and more balanced when their paths came together. A nothing incident really.

Arsenal are 33 points behind City. 33!

Iíve got nothing but respect for Wenger, but this has to be his last season at Arsenal.

hes going to get sacked.

later, when asked if he thought he was going to get the chop, the former arsenal manager said "i didn't see it (coming)"

'It's difficult at the moment for me to get into any negative assessment,' he said. 'The team needs more support at the moment. Tough, objective judgement as well. but when you struggle for confidence it's difficult.

'When you have just the trousers on it's easy to take them trousers off as well. When you're completely naked you have to find a shirt and try to put it on again and then you're dressed normally again.

I think it's grossly unfair to call Brighton pathetic, they're newly promoted and showing some quality and heart to become a mid-table team.

Arsenal are doing the opposite to achieve the same outcome!

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes he is the best man to take the club forward, and has told his coaching staff that he will not step down this summer. (Times - subscription required)

Dementia is characterised by impairment of at least two brain functions, such as memory loss and judgement and his comment is reflective of those characteristics (not saying he's literally suffering from dementia).

Nice......well run side,
what with the stories of players having to be collected from home for training when they can't be arsed coming in, and young players not being arsed given what they see from the experienced squad members.........you'd wonder why they aren't triumphing on all fronts.

Why would anyone there think they deserve a raise??? What is wrong with people. Unless they believe some players should earn less, in that case

Half that team needs sacking.
Who would you actually keep, as an arsenal fan? And maybe let's take into consideration they might perform better with a new manager and other players.
But just look at their team.

Goalkeepers - horrible shite, sack them all
Koscielny, Mustafi, Chambers, Holding - hopeless
Elneny, Coquelin, Xhaka - my god
Ramsey, what happened to him, was a beast at some point
Iwobi, Welbeck
Lacazette

Kolasinac, Monreal, Bellerin, Wilshere if he stays fit, Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang are decent/good, but wasted under Wenger. Probably some good youth players as they usually had those.

They sure are in trouble.

The commentary seems to think this is the Kaka, Sheva, Maldini etc team not a mediocre side no better than the likes of Sampdoria nowadays. Savage proudly proclaiming how all the critics have been answered was bizarre.
