No potential replacement manager would want to come in with that pile of misery waiting for them

Moyes doesn't need to worry about that - he could lose them all and he'd still be a winner down in Taffs Tavern. Because he is a winner.

I'd rather they waited another couple of weeks. He'll have them well fired up. Losing to him next week would be insufferable.

Possibly but that job might not be available yet, Everton one seems more likely. Perhaps Arteta sees staying in the NW to cut his teeth before taking over from Guardiola as his better option

Off BBC gossip....
Everton manager Marco Silva could be given two more games in charge while major shareholder Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright discuss alternatives. (Mail)
Hopefully he'll still be in charge when they play us next Wednesday...
Former Toffees boss Sam Allardyce says it is clear the players are no longer playing for Silva. (Talksport)
He's lurking....
Everton director of football Marcel Brands and manager Silva have held talks about recalling 20-year-old Portugal goalkeeper Joao Virginia from his loan spell at Reading. (Liverpool Echo)
What happened to Pickford being world #1?

It kind of makes sense that they keep him in post until after their run of tough fixtures
Then give him the bullet and hope that you get a bounce from a new manager. More difficult getting the bounce during that run of fixtures

It was only their under 21s but beaten 4 nil at home to Fleetwood. Given Mosh ain't spending a fortune and them usually bringing kids through its not the best sign

Actually their net spend over the past 5 seasons has been the third highest in the league behind the two Manchester clubs - averaging £55m a season. They’ve just squandered their Billions on a utter dross

Two points off the relegation places.
It would be delicious if we could dump them into the bottom three this week.

A flukey draw vs leicester would be good, just to make sure the foxes slip back and are no longer a thing.
Or even getting arse spanked and totally demoralised before they play us.

Bottom 3.
Did they say tonight that they’ve spent 1/2 a billion on the team?

1/2 a Billion since Moyes left.
Fucking hell.
They’ve not sold anyone of note other than Lukaku either.

Reckon the Everton board were waiting for tonight's result to sack Silva. They're probably relieved we pummeled them, as it would have been a bit awkward for them if the BS had won.
