That’s insane. They were still leading the tie 3-1 at that point! But already they felt like they were going to get beat. Nothing they could do about it.

What a monster this Liverpool team is right now

I imagine they have no choice, they've allowed that shirt sponsor in to do it and they cant tell the story of the season without it, Spurs doing an amazon prime for this season should be tasty also

I just watched the episode (the part focused on the game) - I urge everyone to watch it. Man it gave me goosebumps and made me realize just how monumental that result was and how worried Barca were before the game and already at half time.

It sounds like Barça are a mentally weak team. They just fortunately have the best player this world has ever seen since Maradona. Alba being in a position where he blubbered at 3-1 is a black mark against the club culture rather than him.

Where's their Hendo, Carra, Terry, Ramos, etc.?

Surprised how silent Suarez was in the dressing room too, given how much of a winner he is himself. He sort of shakes his head at the manager's comments, but doesn't really come back with anything much himself. I imagined he'd be more vocal.

Barca's whole MO, is give the ball to Messi and he will score. To be fair its not too bad, as plans go.

The episode was a good watch - we came out of it a lot better than Barca, as you'd expect.

You probably weren't born in 2005. Nothing tops that. And probably won't in my lifetime. But Barça comes second for sure.

Edit : finally we get to see the difference between Maradona and Messi. Apart from drugs obviously. One is a born leader, the other looks like he was just born yesterday. Argentina have always had talented footballers, just no leaders since Diego.

I didn't say it was, just an argument. I'd go Istanbul, then Barca. Both absolute fairytales.

They never stood a chance really, judging from their body language at HT.

It really was just a matter of ourselves taking our chances as they came.

We kept seeing the same lad in the crowd in the clips, must have a selfie stick, im pretty sure hes one of the group from the barca fan club who came to collect their tickets from the doubletree hotel where we did the security.
Im not sure if anyone remembers my story how i took their group pictures with their flags, all high 5s and backslapping...
When i went to give him the phone back i said to them all (about 10 of them) you're all happy now and i cant blame you, but you all might be crying by full time at Anfield.
I wouldnt have believed it but i just wanted to wipe the smugness off their faces.
I told them its loud and passionate, too intimidating for some, and many teams have bottled it and they could end up with broken hearts.
Id love to think it is the same lad, and all his mates were saying that guy in the hotel has put a curse on them

Just watched Episode 7, amazing stuff. As stated previously, no leaders in that dressing room, one lad in tears at half time ffs. Messi's motivational speech is pure David Brent. They'd stand even less chance this year seeing what absolute mentality behemoths we are.

Favorite part was Shakira going "Son of a mother" She's still got it
