Andre Gomes was their best player this season, big loss for them. Hope he gets well soon as seems like a decent chap... The rest of them however, fuck em. Especially that knob, Holgate. Hope he gets completely ruined by our front three on Weds...

It is understood Amazon was also in talks with Channel 4 about sharing its rights for Liverpool-Everton with the free-to-air channel — to lighten the load on the network, dilute any negative publicity for snafus beyond its control, and ensure a big audience for its core pre-Christmas message of free two-day delivery for gifts bought on its website. But the Premier League pointed out such sub-licensing deals are ruled out in the deal Amazon signed in June 2018.

I guess the biggest issue is finding a pub that chooses our game as the one to show.

Amazon Prime Video’s package of games to be made available in pubs through BT Sport

Amazon Prime Video is to make its Premier League football games available in pubs through a partnership with BT Sport.

Amazon has a package of 20 Premier League games a year, which it will start airing in December.

However, it has no linear broadcast channel to show matches and has no relationship with pubs.

According to a report in The Telegraph, the “Amazon Premier League Pass” will be marketed by BT Sport and pubs and clubs will use existing set-top equipment to access it.

Now I understand why they are staggering the kick offs somewhat. The internet infrastructure in this country won't have seen anything like this before.

Might actually be quicker to get a dodgy NBC Sports stream, if it all goes wrong.

Is Amazons plan to buy a lot of the PL tv rights and then sell each one individually?

Would be great.

Ultimate goal would be to be able to get a season ticket for every league game of your team live on tv.

Fck me how much shit do I have to sign up to just to guarantee I see the game? I don't want to sign for a free months shitty trial. Will go to sports bar but means I don't get home till late.

I read an article about The Grand Tour (yeah, I know) and apparently Amazon don't release viewing figures. Even the people involved in producing it don't know how many have watched.

It's possible. I'm away from home this week so away from places I would have an idea might be able to and have managed to find a venue showing it anyway. I just used Google Maps to find nearby pubs and then looked on their Facebook /Twitter pages to see if they were posting about it.

Is it one of those free trials that is easy to cancel online if you remember to do so - or do you have to call them and jump through hoops etc.?

It's a piece of piss. Just cancel online. The only problem is remembering.

Will be a tough game this one

I can see them going 5-4-1 again like they did at Leicester and trying to stifle us

We were lucky to get 3 points last season and they nullified us away

I think so too - they are massive underdogs nothing to lose, we are not playing well but grinding out results and we set a new unbeaten record should we not lose.

I expect us to win but it's all set up for a shock - it would make their decade. I'd love us to win 3 nil and stroll through the game.....somehow I just don't see that happening

First impressions are that the picture quality is really irritating. So much motion blur on the ball makes it tough to watch
