We've enough sport-washing to contend with/get rid of without these cunts getting into the mix.

I feel sorry for them, desperate to get rid of Ashley and crave some success. Who wouldn't be desperate for some mega rich owner in their senerio. Obviously it's good news for us and the rest of the league but I can fully sympathise with the fans as for 3 months they've had a golden ticket floated in front of them and now its been whipped away and they are stuck with the prospect of more Ashley and Bruce.

Whatever. I'm hardly losing sleep over it. But we know what's it like to have shit owners. Lots of reds would take taken dodgy money over human rights back in the dark days.

They closely tie with Spurs with an over inflated sense of their own importance backed up a largely empty trophy cabinet.

Its OK FFP will make sure we are all on an even playing field .......

Man C vs Roman vs Newcastle for the next 20 yrs then, with Roman dropping in about 5 yrs; it will become a battle between UAE states for players & trophies.

And that is where I'd bow out and say thanks for the memories.

It's criminal that we've allowed this to happen, but what do you expect when the governing bodies are corrupt

They'll go all out for Salah to make a statement I think.

Brace yourselves...

Could this be the tipping point for FSG to bow out, or will it be a case of making the EPL the biggest league by far, therefore increasing the value of teams in the league?

Then Bruce won't be around for long but will get a nice pay off. So which manager they will go for?... Conte is available & his track record is good but he will have to build the club & squad so gonna need 2-3 years before any semblance of a decent squad like City / Chelsea.

Curveball, but wouldn't rule out someone like Gerrard going there tbh.

Pretty low risk for both parties considering the budget they'd give & they'll probably need to go through a transition period anyway like Citeh did with the Shinawatra signings where they throw money about incoherently until some of them start to stick.

Not sure the highest calibre managers would want to get the ball rolling on the first stage of a 5-10year rebuild project. 2nd stage, yeah someone like Conte could come in when a quality squad is in place & make it his own with a few extra world class signings.

Rafa is 16/1 and I'm surprised he's so big. Fans love him, proven winner, decent first 'stepping stone' manager. Be funny as fuck if they took him off Everton already.

You'd think Steve Bruce would need to go in the opposite direction to balance that particular universe

If you're the richest owners in the world, you'd want a box office name. Multiple CL winning Zidane fits that, or Conte. Couldn't see Pep or Klopp going there ever.

Gerrard or Bodge would be a big gamble. When they spend big, which they will, they'll want the best manager they can get spending the money. Staveley might have a good relationship with Rafa but I don't see them sacking Bruce for Rafa. He'd have got time under the new guys if he was already there but not now.

It'd be a laugh if they gave Bruce quarter of a billion to spend in the summer.

He'd blow it on Harry McGuire, Eric Dier and Fabian Delph

Proper Monkeys Paw moment for many Newcastle fans

Want Ashley out for a decade plus

Finally get him. New owners mega rich but deep down the fans will know this is just a sports washing exercise by one of the most despotic regimes in the world.

They all seem to be ecstatic. Disappointed in a couple of Toon mates who I thought would be walking away from it all but are just relishing it without a shred of introspection.

To be fair Everton managers usually go on to bigger and better things, their last few managers and their next jobs

Moyes - Man Utd
Martinez - Belgium national side working with their golden generation
Koeman - The Netherlands national side (then Barcelona)
Allardyce - West Brom - so this one is an exception
Marco Silva - Fulham - Ok two exceptions
Ancelotti - Real Madrid

How 4 out of 6 of them went on to get top jobs after fairly poor records at Everton is rather mind boggling.

99.9% of them seem to be in support of it. There would be absolute carnage within our fanbase if it was us. Local and 'legacy' fans vs fifa boys and far flung corners of the earth.
