Yeah his parents are Scousers who emigrated to Canada and they brought him up as a red. He lived in the UK for a while in the 80s and stood on the Kop at matches a couple of times then.

Surely Khan is a Bolton Wanderers fan? I'm sure he sports their badge on his robe he wears into the ring. And he has fought at the Reebok and gone on about how great it was to fight at the home ground of his team.

Many say he was at Istanbul

I'm sure he wears his Bolton colours as a PR home exercise. I would wear Leicester colours (might not right now though ) if it was beneficiary for my success

He was in Istanbul because his mates and cousins support the Reds - he tagged along.

He is Bolton 100% though. Mates with Fat Sam and uses their training facilities - he also has an exec box at the Reebok.

Not true. I saw him on Craig Ferugson (a Scottish late night talk show host here in the States) and Craig asked him about this and Paul said he was a Red so is Ferguson btw

Paul Mcartney said on Colin Murray's (another red) radio one show a few years back that he grew up a blue but changed to a Red after the team came to see Wings in concert in the 70's.
