Which reminds me: one of the new builds was Juve's Delle Alpi which only lasted 16 years before they moved to another new one. Madness.

If they go hard on AC Milan, surely they will go hard on City as well, hoping for a minimum of one year, since they also tried to lie and cheat on purpose.

Still, they can't kick Milan out of the CL though.

Keith Houchen, what a header that was...ball in from Bennett IIRC... when the FA Cup was great...

Gary Mabbutt OG to win it. Agree those were the days, when even watching Spurs v Coventry in the final was exciting.

It was because you didn’t have access to literally every game like we do now so watching a live game was a bit of a rarity.

Old Wembley was so unique also it have the final a special feel.

England had a game against Brazil a few days later and the Brazilians couldn't understand why Bennett wasn't in the team; (I don't think he was even in the squad for that matter).

Gary Mabbutt’s knee decisive in that final, and also weird as half the Spurs’ players shirts had sponsors and the other half were plain.

I think I was at that final but can't be sure. I went to quite a few in the 80s as my Uncle qualified for a ticket allocation as chairman of a non-league side

I went to one with my cousin who supports Spurs but thought it was the Brighton final but they played Utd and the only one I saw with Utd was 1977 when we lost to them

Coventry had a kit a bit like Brighton so must've been that one

Nah, it was Spurs vs City and Spurs vs QPR that I went to. 1987 was too late, I was 18 by then

Stand down

Club reaction to Neymar Jr's absence from resumption of training

This Monday, July 8, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was summoned for the resumption of activities of the professional group of Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain found that the player Neymar Jr did not show up at the agreed time and place, without having been authorized by the Club in advance.

Paris Saint-Germain deplores this situation and will take the appropriate measures resulting from it.

Another decent player - put up big numbers for Marseille last couple of years but he bombed at Newcastle right?

Could be a bargain that. Like Salah came to young to the premier league and who would flourish under Steve McLaren.

THought he might go to BAyern Munich as a RObben/Ribery replacement

Leicester could be a decent punt for top 4 this season. 20-1 are the odds.

Same odds for Top 7 would be fairer, no chance top 4

They will all be fighting for top 10 finishes, possibly nicking a EL place at best.
