Man U away

FFS

No enthusiasm for this. Win, and City are champs. Lose and we are pretty much definitely out of the CL.

The big difference this season is that we've failed to lift our game for the big matches. Historically, even when we've been in poor form, we've put in great performances against the biggest sides when we were written off by everyone. This season however, the lads have turned up at games like this and played it like a training session.

Field day for Rashford is my prediction.

I'm supporting from afar.

But I'm not watching it. It's a meaningless game that has a high probability of putting me in a bad mood.

I've got better things to do with time and my mood (not sure what yet but I'll find something more important to do).

I’m guilty as well. It is hard getting up for it at the moment but this is a massive game and we’re due a win! Hopefully it’ll put you/ us all in a great mood

I had to Google what time this was on this morning. We'll create 5 one on one chances against a largely Utd second XI and score once. Utd will then score from their only two chances in the second half, both (non) penalties.

Yawn.

Torn between this being a mess of a game for us and us winning a high scoring shoot put of a game.

Fuck this, we just need to go at these bellends and show them how good a team we really are. Time to start performing At Old Trafford now, this team has to stand up and start fighting these fucks at their place.

It would be a big boost going into preseason if we had a run of decent results behind us from the run in. So fingers crossed.

Just can't see how we win this. They're miles better on current form but just got to hope our lads realise the importance of the tie and put in the performance of the season

Fabinho in the middle would be a start.

No matter what we do, our CB pairing is going to be a back up pairing, but what we can control is whether our midfield and attack are as close as possible to being made up of first team starters.

We can if we take the chances that we will create, but that will need a change of form. And we will have to avoid needless fouls around or in our box, which will also need a change of form. But its all possible, albeit improbable.

Always hate this game, but this time I genuinely am not even that bothered about watching it. I didn't watch the Newcastle game either.

I saw the first five minutes and the last five minutes of that one.

With a game of tennis in the middle.

Eventually we’re going to have a game where the chances go in. Whether it’s through rediscovering our finishing or pure scabby luck like City’s goals in midweek.

Today would be nice.

I would like the whole of next season to be like that. Not fussed if we make the CL. I want number 20 with lots of scabby goals that we're vastly owed.

Even if we do lose, it's no indication of next season's performances. We'll have van Dijk, Gomez, Henderson back and hopefully a decent preseason (Euro 2020 notwithstanding).

That said I'll be watching highlights and not giving a fuck unless we win!

Dom's right, we're all too old to let football dictate our mood.

Luckily there is nothing like a pandemic doing the rounds or any need to worry about things like breaking into private property.

Pack of pricks.

Should be easy to get them arrested though. Just lock all exits, have lots of police around in riot gear and round them up.

Wonder if there will be a delay/cancelled kick off due to these fans storming in. Everything must surely need to be sanitised again and that’ll take ages...
