I've made some utter howlers as well.

Wanting Darren Bent instead of Torres being chief amongst them

What was your thinking?

"But Torres doesn't have the Prem experience Bent does"

I am not adverse to signing Milner, primarily because it might mean Allen is further down the pecking order. I do have some concerns though but obviously they could be alleviated depending on who else we sign and who is managing the side

The most important thing for me is who is managing us next season, if its Brendan then its going to be a difficult year as I have no faith in him signing or playing the right kind of team selections / systems that get the best out of the players we have

Can’t remember / be arsed looking if I mentioned there’s a James Milner Foundation building right next to where my dad lives in Horsforth.

Thought he was great today, real game intelligence. Shows up how we’re missing Hendo, who also has proper game smarts.

I think he should play in midfield against Atletico, either in place of Henderson of he doesn't make it back or alongside him in place of Fabinho, we need wise heads in there.

This man is the modern Seedorf. Never a goat but wins every thing wherever he goes. Almost like a lucky charm. Not many current or ex City players can lay claim to being CL and PL winners. That includes the like of KdB, Silva, Aguero.

Even though KdB was at Chelsea during their fluked CL win he has not been credited with a medal so he's still waiting too.

James Milner is like one of those Italian players that keep going until they're 39. What an engine!
