Classic Liverpool Matches

Loads of them on youtube, any suggestions for watching. I'm thinking tonight either Roma 2002 or United 2001.

One of my favourite games from when I was growing up was the 3 all draw at home to United. 3 nil down after 20 minutes but Clough got 2 and then Ruddock with the equaliser.

God we spent a lot of cash on some shite players in the 90s.

Our of curiosity what were peoples views on Jamie Redknapp? I know he was with us for a long time and captained the side for a while. His career was hampered by his many injuries, but I always felt he was very overrated or never really reached his potential. I often found him a frustrating player to watch.

From memory, he was the sort of player that would look amazing if we were battering a team or collectively playing well but if we were losing or up against it hed go missing.

Thats only a hazy recollection though. I do remember he suddenly learned this weird step over thing one season and did it all the time.

And IIRC MOTD's goal of the season was Liverpool's goal of a season i.e. the only goals put forward for voting were Liverpool goals.

Imagine that now - rival fans would be marching with pitchforks and organising boycotts of the BBC.
