Yeah saw that as well. First time in a while he has put in decent performances back to back, though I think Thiem is on the road to recovery from injury as well.

Wimbledon stripped of ranking points this season. Or
Pretty controversial and I wonder if this will be the end of this

See the Canadian Raducanu lost again.
Was it the clay or is she not all that?

He'll no doubt lose to Pump Blobdyvov in straight sets next round.

Did anyone see the Isner post match interview? It was like a Father Ted “near and far away” perspective test. The guy is 6’ 10” - probably could have made it in basket ball too!

A grim evening last night. The Raducanu mystery rumbles on and tough to watch Murray basically get nowhere near a bloke he's never lost to.

Murray played pretty well, but couldn't live with the Isner serve - Isner was getting near all time ace records - the game came down to effectively three clutch moments - but thats tennis.
But yeah, best appreciate Murray for the next few years. He has commited to working towards playing the Opens and his appetite for the battle is more than evident.

I feel sorry for her. There is far too much expectation being heaped upon her imo.
She is wildly talented for her age, still years from honing that talent but has the media and a good chunk of the public expecting her to be walking over far more seasoned pros.

Agree she deserves patience and understanding...I just have no idea what's going on with her and the coaching situation. Seems to sack one a month, and it was very odd sacking the US Open winning coach straight after winning it. She's been unlucky with a lot of injuries but she appears to lack basic fitness levels lately. Hope she can start putting some wins together.

Think there is only her and Coco under 25 in the top 20, So either there is a lack of talented yoof or you dont get going in the womens game till 25+time is definitely on her side.
If you win a major at that age it must be a blessing and a curse I think its only natural to have expecation heaped on her, Sport has plenty of players over the year that couldnt live up to there early promise.

There’s a few more than that. Swiatek is #1 and there’s a few others I think under 25 in the top 10 now as well.
Guard is slowly changing but there’s a lot of pressure on these young players not just to perform on court but also keeping the sponsors happy.

It is, but she should get the time to show if she can or cannot live up to that early promise.
She is only 19 and there seems to be a mix, in the media, of expecting her to sweep all before her or that she is a hype job.
Whether she lives up to her potential or not, years are needed to get to that point.
