Weird! — Other games 12 December 2009
Every single home team in the premier league this weekend is also playing at home next midweek. Or am I imagining things?

Interesting the way that people are treating Chelsea's "wobble". Haven't won in three and now people are picking on things like their marking at set pieces and wondering about their training regime. Odd that they don't pick on the tactical system but look at individual players and the quality of training. To some extent it shows that other teams do also get criticised unfairly but also that the tone and targets are different even given similar evidence.
Just a thought: Is there any common factors between ourselves, Everton and United due to the geographical proximity that could explain why all the clubs have such huge injury lists? I have no idea what such a factor would be but there you go, probably just coincidence.
Another odd thought how come Bowyer is so reviled (found not guilty in his Leeds days) whereas everyone is much more positive about Woodgate (found guilty I thought)? Despite Bowyers good form I really hate Birminghams crap football and dull side and hope West Ham thrash them.

Stoke 1 - 1 Wigan at half time. Boyce for Wigan, equalised by Tuncay.

Just listening to Alex McLeish being interviewed on the radio and the journo asked him who the big 'inspirators' were in the dressing room.

Someone get that man a dictionary.
Oooh...penalty to Wigan...saved!

Maybe you should try applying some of your voodoo magic to our results.
God knows we could do with it.

Colder/wetter/frostier weather and thus poorer playing conditions?

Probably because Bowyer has always had a poor disciplinary record, always been a mouthy prick, dirty tackler and even been seen fighting with his own team-mates on the pitch

Everton's third goal sounds hilarious - Drogba heading the ball against Saha and it looping over Cech.

Right - what's the betting that either Man City or CHelsea pull an injury time rabbit out of the hat.
