Am i alone in thinking it would be good for us, if they knocked psg out; i despise the mancs with a passion, but taking out the top (2?) team would be a bonus

I'd rather PSG went out than Utd at this stage

The massive advantage PSG have over everyone else I the champs league is that they can literally rest everyone of their first team players during the 2 legs as they league is dus tt and dusted. That is a huge advantage at this stage of the season and latter stages of champs league .

Massive disadvantage for them is that team is the most mercenary there is and full of bottlers

I do genuinely dislike Psg and won't be upset if they go out. For me it's a win win.

Same. Hate them. Plus they're a far superior side to United so if they go out it's good news for us (assuming we beat Bayern!).
But if PSG still spank them, then all good too

My boss at work is a United supporter. One of those who probably never actually watches any of the games. He knows I'm a Liverpool fan. He knows Liverpool are top of the league. Yet the day after every game they win he comes bragging to me..."8 in a row now".
It's not just him, there's loads of their supporters in the office that seem delighted with it. Like they're actually "back". It amuses me and I honestly don't mind seeing the illusion extend a little longer. Say they beat PSG (they've got a sniff without Neymar). It won't lead anywhere. I honestly can't see them getting top 4 even though the others are faltering, and I honestly can't see them getting anywhere near winning the Champions League.
The longer Solksjaer does well, the longer they can kid themselves they're back. They might even be forced to offer him the job in the end, which would be amazing
When reality actual hits home, and it will soon enough, it will be all the more enjoyable.

I know that they/Solskjaer have won 8 on the bounce but I still believe that this is due to the massive lift in the atmosphere in the dressing room at Mourinho having gone rather than Solskjaer's tactical genius. Everyone hated Mourinho so much they are desperate to prove that he was the problem, they are putting in that extra effort. Once this has all died down and they move into next season it will be interesting to see if Solskjaer and continue to produce this kind of form

Agree, but also factor in rolling dbf out occasionally to mumble some drunken slurring swear words to motivate/scare the lazy twats.
When fergie gets back in the car and leaves i wonder if some if them will ask who the fuck that was.

He's a cheerleader.
I hope he gets the job on a full time basis. He then spunks a few hundred million on shite during the summer and is chased within 18 months.

Utd play PSG, Chelsea (FA cup), us and then PSG. 4 games and we're probably the least important of them. Tricky for them.

As long as the first leg is 0-0 and they need to field their strongest side

As much as 8 out of 8 is a decent little run of form, I'd not want to be playing them on a 11 out of 11 streak... confidence builds confidence, irrelevant of how shite we all think the their team is. I'd love PSG to gub them and knock the stuffing out of their swagger... and then we dismantle them while they're on the ropes...

They are not a shit team, just badly managed. Pogba, as much of an assbag that he is, play him the right way and he becomes an incredibly dangerous player, add Rashford, Mata, Sanchez, De Gea, into mix and its easy to see why finally they put a run together

Saw something on Facebook this week saying Ryan Biggs spent longer on top of his sister in law than we did on top of the league. Those mancs are hilarious aren't they
