Rash move by chelsea I think. Tuchel is bang average, didn't achieve anything of merit with dortmund. No idea how he earnt the move to PSG.
Lampard did well last season and I think they will benefit from the youngsters he blooded.
Galatico signings from Germany just didn't hit the ground running at all. Both look like shadows of their bundesliga versions.

Yer man Tomori went on loan to AC Milan. Apparantly Milan have an opton to buy him for something like £25m. I think Klopp could make him a world-beater. He has bags of pace.

I was always impressed when I saw him - classic CB qualities from a physical stand point. I guess he was a bit raw and it seems shortsighted from Chelsea given that he is English and they are not overstocked at CB with guys coming through

Agreed, think there's the makings of a very very good defender there.

On Sky Sports this morning they were discussing Tuchel at Chelsea and the opinion put forward that the least that should be expected from him straight, given the squad they currently have, would be to challenge for the title and cups this season.
Funny how the narrative has changed with regards to how a manager should have that squad performing now that Lampard is gone.

Crazy shit.
I would love if someone put that to Tuchel in an interview. He's likely to come out with a brilliant quote along the lines of "if this club was going to challenge for the league this year, then they wouldn't have hired me mid-season"
I expect that Roman will throw another wad at it in the summer though. And if he does, then they won't be too far away from challenging.

And no doubt if they managed to the credit would have to go to Lampard for laying the foundations according to the great British press and pundits
