I don't really like it but what he is often doing is knocking the ball past someone and running into them. Last week Barnes did that for Leicester and got the freekick that got them the equalizer, today Calvert-Lewin got a pen for doing the same thing. I don't think either of those are fouls but if you are seeing them awarded, aren't you going to give it a try?
Similarly when you look at the pens awarded against us, the one today, the one against Robertson for minimal contact on Welbeck, the one for handball by Gomez, even with VAR (I believe it looked at all those 3 and I don't believe any were pens) the system is fallible, until that is sorted out players are going to 'roll the dice'.
I'm not saying two wrongs make a right and I don't like it but you are clearly at a disadvantage if you don't do what everyone else is doing, feel the contact and go down...
