i'm really amazed at how well i've taken this - i'm really not that arsed
The way i see it -
we got him for what £25m? had three amazing years from him football wise - arguably his best years/form - i enjoyed watching him play and appreciated it. But he caused issues every season and we were going to be without him for 4 months! And we've made £50m on him - plus he's gone abroad not to another english team and we are on the up on and off the pitch and back in champions league
fuck it

I'm the opposite - I love Barcelona the city & the football team - I go to at least one match a season at the Camp Nou
Looking forward even more to my next visit
Totally fucking gutted that he's left us though

It feels odd. The weirdest thing is he wasn't even a Liverpool player for that long. It's not like he's Hamann or someone who was here for ages. It's 3 and a half seasons. Just shows how good he was, despite his relatively short time at the club which included some long first term absences he's made a really profound effect at the club. Special player.

I don't know how to take it. He's fucked us over plenty while here with his stupidity, showed he really didn't give a shit about us last summer and with his apology this summer but then again he was one of the best I've ever seen and gave absolutely everything he had on the pitch. I don't buy his statement about loving us because his actions in other ways contradict it, I wouldn't put it past him to completely overlook us if he returns to the premier league one day.
Fucking superb player though and I loved what he did for us on the pitch. Just massively pissed off he wouldn't give us one more season having come so close last year.
Bloody hell I don't know how I feel ! Anger, sadness, happiness at having ever had him. Weird!

That would wind my up. If he flopped at Barca or they're sick of his shenanigans in 2 seasons and he was linked with a move back - if he snubbed us for Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal etc I'd be against my better judgement in disbelief. However, I'm sure there's a real possibility of it happening.

I'm sad he's leaving but it was probably the best move possible for us.

After spending a huge portion of his life in trying to get to Barca I doubt he'll be back. When he leaves Barca I'd expect him to stay in Spain

The time had come. He is possibly the best player we will ever see in a Liverpool shirt and his desire to win is second to none. But we have had 3 fantastic years, in footballing terms, and have made a 50million profit. He has gone to another league and has solved the ban issue, for us anyway, and in BR I have great faith. I think we played some great football without him last ban.
Ah, fuck it....

Not realy that fussed as he is one incident away from another ban and one bite away from a life Ban.
Can't fault his playing Ethics as he still gave his all after the RM\Gooners saga last year.

Fuck him. Was just a poor man's Aspas who got lucky with deflections and pens. Barca are the only losers here.

So did Fabregas. He'll go where its best for Luis Suarez. His will to win is unreal so he'll never go anywhere just to stay in a country. If it doesn't work out at Barca he'll be off somewhere else where he can win things. Not too many teams in Spain offering that.
It should work out though. He's too good for it not to.

He was proper jammy. The ball always bounced off players and always back to him. Pure luck. A massively flukey player.

Shame he's gone but good luck to the guy - thanks for the memories.
Just hope his goals get to knock out Chelsea/Arsenal/United (future)/City in the champions league (and not us).
Decent move for him:
- Better chance of winning Champions League than us
- Better chance of winning league (City, Spurs, United, Chelsea, Arsenal will be stronger this season) and other cups (CDR)
- Gets to play with Messi (his idol)
- Country speaks his native tongue
- Wife's family over there
- No cunting English tabloids/media
- Gets to play against Ronaldo; hopefully stopping him & Real Madrid from winning anything

Just imagine if Real Madrid buy Falcao. The coverage for El Clasico would be huge:
Ronaldo, Bale and Falcao vs Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

Every time.
Though FWIW I don't think it'll work. Even Messi with Neymar barely worked.

I don't know. Suarez was brilliant for us when he was playing up top on his own, playing with Sturridge, playing with Kuyt/Maxi/Meireles (Kenny's first 6 months), was ok with Carroll/Downing ( ). Basically, can play with anyone and improve any team, even when he wasn't scoring as many for us, he was the best player practically every week.
Ahhh fuck!
Edit: Andf that was ignoring how good he was in Holland and for Uruguay too.

When #mufc sold Ronaldo, someone at club said: "It was a rocky marriage but the sex was great." Analogy works even better for Suarez at #LFC

Classy from Stevie if that's genuine, but you'd expect him to be disappointed more than any of us at the same time.
I'm sure he knew the score over the last year all the same.

They are going by Ballague. Everyone else including Barrett and the Echo are saying "close to £75m". Ballague also insisted the Neymar deal was €40m which has since been proven to be closer to €100m so there you go!
Undisclosed so we'll be guessing forever.
