He might be inconsistent but he hasn't half opened up a whole new dimension that I never thought I'd see at Liverpool for a while: pace and control to latch on to Coutinho's passes. And maybe some finishing to top it off. Alien concept FTW!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He's fast. Looking forward to seeing what he does with us, we've been crying out for a "proper" winger for a while, Money is ridiculous as always, but Watford turned down £30m for fucking Troy Deeney

Over priced for me but if Jurgen wants him then I have faith in him, he adds pace and goals from wide and that is something we have been missing for a long time.

All his goals for Southampton. Not sure why everyone is so down on this. Loving his compusure in front of goal and surely his pace will open up and create plenty of space for others
think he will be a huge hit.

Bit of pace and power finally! It's something we've needed for some time. Let's hope he can fit the bill

Presumably he'll operate from the right side, if so we've got some serious pace there now when you consider Clyne too.

Similar signing to Cisse in a way do you think?
Good luck to the lad, hope he's a success.

We desperately need pace and this lad brings it.
Time will tell whether he's good enough or an upgrade.
Welcome fella, please don't be shit.

It's a big step up from a small club & many have been weighed down with the expectations that go with such a move. I hope he proves his doubters wrong.

Good player, mad money. Hope he tears it up with his pace and power, maybe Jurgen can iron out that inconsistency. Welcome to LFC you rich, lucky bastard.... please try not to be an epic failure like so many before you.

Great signing. He's quick. A proper player with two good feet. He looks very comfortable scoring goals on left or his right. Plus he is a decent header of the ball. A legend in the making

Got the same feeling about this one as well , he has pace which we badly need in the team.

A good player, fits how Klopp wants to play, has real pace, strength and can finish.
Ok fee is on high side but I'd rather pay £10m more on a player that actually suits our style and has potential to get better plus proven in PL.

This feels different to the other Southampton signings as for once it's very clear where this guy will fit in with our play.
Cautiously optimistic about this.

I think we knew where Clyne would play!
Anyway welcome to Liverpool Mr Mane not to be confused with Sane (unless talking about the inmates of est1892)
