I guess this is the Fekir alternative......I’ve gorged on videos of him since we were linked and whilst not as good a dribbler he can play deeper and works harder. He seems such a good fit on so many levels

Yeah I thought it was pronounced min-a-meen-o? If its min-a-man-o then it works brilliantly!

He pronounce it himself above, and it isn't min-a-man-o.

Got him in for less than we sold Ryan Kent for in the summer.

We are making up for years of being absolutely wank at transfers by being astonishing at them.

An offensive 5 of Keita, Minamino, Salah, Mane and Bobby. Complete mare for the opposition

Any of them - predominantly off the right for Salzburg but they changed to a diamond vs us where he played as a 10. Id even say he could be back up to Bobby or play as one of the 8s in midfield

Yeah, he seems to be able to flit across a lot of positions at will but in the two games I've seen him in I see him as a number 10.

Look, its going to be a step up in what he's used to so he's certain to start somewhere across the front three/four imo. I don't think he's quite ready for a midfield three.

He looks plenty strong and skilful enough. Will be a gem in terms of marketing, but I am sure he should only have cost one million dollars.

The match at Anfield was the first game I'd been to for a year and this was the one player that really stood out to me, so I'm pretty excited about this.

He's got the work ethic and energy that we need, so he'll hopefully slot in well, but we need to let him settle in. It seems there's a little more expectancy on him than there really should be at this price, especially considering that most of us didn't know of his existence until this year.

We could get more for Karius if Besiktas follow through on their 8m commitment.

The one thing that struck me is how all of our players are humble human beings, which is obviously the whole ethos trickling down from Klopp. No Billy Pogbollocks here. This makes our group of players and coaches more giving to their environment and the club, less taking, and that is part of the new world of we‘re living in. As a species we are moving towards unity consciousness, like it or not, and the ego-based consciousness is a relic of the past.

This is why right now we are so successful and getting better and better. Because it‘s not about anyONE, it‘s about all of US, and that is the prime logos of the universe talking - the logos of love.

Which is incidentally why we are revered and praised by all of the footballing community. Because we are all human. And Klopp has instilled this ethos and this is why we breaking the barriers of tribalism in football. No one hates him, he, as the keystone of Liverpool Football Club, is transcending the sport and connecting humans from all over the world.

Welcome to the future, my fellow friends. We should be proud to able to witness the future mankind is headed towards through the game of football. It is the ultimate privilege to be a Liverpool fan, because we have been, and now really are, the ambassadors of global connectedness and love. Savour the moments, the future of us all on this Planet has entered a new age.

I'd love to agree with you about what the future of the human race, but the governments we keep electing suggest quite the opposite.

Klopp is revered because he's an exception. The rest of the world is plummeting into isolationist hell.

Anyway, happy Christmas one and all.

I don't want to bring politics into this thread, indeed I'm trying to mentally tune out from all that for a while, but since our politics / elections have become so much more presidential, I've begun to think Klopp would be an amazing PM for this country. As a figurehead, with his ability to unite and inspire people, (and left leaning politics obviously) he's fucking unsurpassed. I guess that says more about my - and no doubt all of our - unbridled love for him. He's an incredible bloke.

Very excited to see what this lad can bring to us, might even find himself playing more often than initially thought, inspite of Klopp's tendency to blood new players, due to our position of authority in the league, need to rest when CL comes knocking etc
Obviously needs the proper preseason with us, but coming off the bench and providing new impetus in games might be a real bonus for the second half of the season.
