My thinking is that whilst RBL tend to play the ball on the ground a lot, they do go long at times for the 6'4 Poulson to either head it down or to get it on his chest so he can hold it for the runners from deep, and was thinking a physical presence there might be no bad thing. Poulson might not be as aerially dominant as his height might suggest, but might not need to be against us if he can get one on one in the air with Henderson.

We just need to stay in it tonight - next leg in 4 weeks and we will hopefully have more players back and others match fit. A 2-1 loss wouldn’t be the end of the world

Yes get through this with a decent result, then by 2nd leg we'll hopefully be in much better shape confidence and personnel wise

We are going to roll over them. I am so confident that I am willing to bet Nev's cricket bat on that happening.

Midfield bench depth is a worry. Hopefully won't be needed

FFS Henderson in defence again.
Love Klopp but he’s got to realise that we desperately need him in midfield.

Injuries no? Fabinho, Milner, Keita all out and Henderson playing at the back. Hardly an issue with depth, just our situation with injuries at the moment. It’s great that we can still put out a great midfield out despite those injuries.

Think Jurgen should start conversing in German with the BTs and Sky Sports' lads from now on.

I like him there and I think until Davies is up to speed, Hendo or Fabinho are the obvious options.

I'm talking about depth tonight, not the overall squad. Fully aware of who we have out injured in midfield, no need to list

Really hope Fabinho is back for the derby and Hendo can go back into midfield. We'll batter them if that's the case.

Maybe the weakest bench we've had for a couple of years.

I feel it's going to go one way or the other. Either we put in a fantastic performance and batter them or we get done 3 or 4 and leave ourselves a mountain to climb.
A lot will hinge on our chance creation and taking those chances tonight especially. They will create and probably score against our current defence so we really need to step it up upfront and deliver a few goals

I'm worried about the protection that midfield will give the defence, hopefully we can offer something going forward and the guys have their shooting boots on because I don't see us keeping a clean sheet...
