That's a hugely distasteful phrase considering most fans sacrifice a lot more to buy tickets and merchandise.

Boo hoo he won't be able afford a 60ft yacht in his first couple of months..

Good good, Hazard leaving would be a massive loss to Chelsea, likewise Pogba staying would be a massive loss to United

As announced, Antoine Griezmann has an agreement with the @FCBarcelona. The player should touch about 17M € net during his first season, 18m € net the second and 19m € the third season.

[ #Liga ] Antoine #Griezmann has a verbal agreement with FC Barcelona. The Catalan club agrees to pay the 120M € of its release clause. The player will make a financial sacrifice to facilitate his coming.
Barca will definitely be selling players ...Couthinio and Dembelee for starters to fund their purchases of Griezmann,De Jong and De Ligt

A lot of that headline transfer figure included add ons didn't it? We're going to lose a lot of that if he gets binned off early surely?

Borussia Dortmund have signed striker Thorgan Hazard from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Moenchengladbach on a five-year deal.

The Belgium winger, the brother of Chelsea’s star man, Eden, has moved across Germany for an estimated fee of €40m (£34.6m).

Think Bale is staying in Spain....unless one of Real or Utd are prepared to take a huge financial gamble/loss.

Tottenham's pursuit of Lyon and France midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, 22, is being complicated by his 75m euro (£66.6m) price tag. (Guardian)

Seems an odd transfer to me - Bayern signed Lucas H and Pavard so Hummels and Boateng under pressure with Sule also there. Dortmund typically buy young up and coming players although they bucked the trend signing Witsel last summer. Hummels’ legs have gone, seems they are paying too much

`That wouldn't make sense...Hummels moved to Bayern in 2016 for €35m on a 5 year contract so unless Bayern were told to pay up in full, I suspect that they pay that fee over the term of Hummels contract which they have paid €21 already...Makes sense for them to cancel the reminder of the contract & let Hummels join Dortmund on a free.
