Hazard had a decent game yesterday but obviously, could only shine as much as his team mates were letting him down. Chelsea never clicked as a team maybe because City exploited their every mistakes in ways we let other teams off the hook with.

So in the grand scheme of things, if Hazard plays a blinder against us, he'd have to have a supporting act. It just is a myth that he turns up on his own and decides the game.

He literally did exactly that to knock us out of the league cup earlier in the season.

Indeed. Chelsea at the moment have become like us for a few seasons with Gerrard; pretty much a one man team. If Hazard doesn't show up and win the game for them then they've struggled.

Lingard and Martial set to miss our match.

Pick 3 points up at OT and we should be clear favourites with our remaining fixtures.

Wish we could give them ours when 2-3 weeks usually means 2-3 seasons.

I filled in an online fixture prediction platform.

Had us finish on 97 points

City 91.

Spurs third, Utd 4th Arsenal 5th, Chelsea 6th...

Hopefully everyone can chill out now?

You’re welcome

Was just a win/draw/lose scenario, goal difference moot.

We beat everyone except Utd (draw) and Everton (draw).

City dropped points at Utd (loss) and Spurs (draw) canít tecall where else.

Simple as that

at the start of the season I though we'd fall somewhere within a 15 point range of 76-91 points depending on how the season went with luck, injuries, form etc.

City with a range of 87-102 points and if somehow worlds collide where we are at the top end of ours and they fall towards the bottom of theirs, we'd be champions.

Fancy us both to be somewhere between 90-96 come the end, them with a slight advantage with the goal difference. Spurs will end up with less than 90.

To this point, no season has come close to the standards of consistency set this year.

With 12 games left we can afford to lose three and still finish with more than 90 points. And that probably wouldn't be enough to win it.

Bonkers.

Pep effect. With Barca he raised the required points to win the league, Spanish league hasn't dropped off to Pre-Pep levels, then goes to Germany and does the same, and I think the same will happen here.

Do we sign all of VVD, Alisson, Fabinho if we are not chasing 90+ points for the league?

Great this from both managers to be fair. Pep looks quite humbled imo.

Fuck Guardiola.

Oliver announced for the Utd game which is excellent, he's by far the best ref and while he may make a mistake at some point he at least won't be got at before kick off. Last time he reffed us there he did it brilliantly, though we then got fucked over late on by a human error from the linesman that gifted them an undeserved offside equaliser.

that is good news...... watching the horrible Kevin Friend last night at the chelsea v United game, I was thinking "what are the odds that this prick will be at Old Trafford on Sunday?"

Such a pity that the United v PSG game wasn't tomorrow. This extra day or so of rest for these lot could make the difference.....

A win tonight would be a great confidence booster though - especially when we also then see a fit and refreshed VVD join the team at the weekend.

This really is the business end of the season.

By the time we travel to Munich, we will have played United and Everton away - and Watford and Burnley at home. Squeaky bum time.

Our game against Chelsea on Sunday 14th April is likely to be moved if we progress to the CL quarter finals. If the 2nd leg is on Tuesday 16th April it will definitely get moved to a earlier or later date. It can't be moved to Saturday 13th April as Chelsea will have played the first leg of their Europa league tie two days before.

I think the fixture changes suit them, they'll get their noses in front at some point and we will be relying on Spurs/United
