It's not like we have many options. Has he not been added partly as PR, to raise spirits a little. I would be surprised if he featured against munich.

Fuck knows.

Can’t see the player being up for his injury being used in that way. Cruel after a year out and surely damaging to Ox’s morale. Doesn’t seem like something Klopp would do either.

Maybe an outside chance for the second leg..?

Nah he's in as we can include him without having a difficult decision to exclude someone else. Maybe looking at the next round or possibly later still. Imo. Nowt to do with being used or being cruel. He's no longer injured so makes sense to include him but it's also good news for fans.

There's space in the squad and we might as well, we don't lose anything by including he so it makes sense

If our bench is going to be depleted like Monday, might as well stick him on the bench against Bournemouth, something for the crowd to get behind, send him out for a few warm ups to raise the noise

He is such a class footballer, fingers crossed he can make a full recovery ... we have done everything right in bringing him back as slowly and carefully as possible. Seems like a good lad to boot

Deffo his right, he has two large scars - one on the front and a large one down the side.

Plays Rondos predominately with his right:

He is afterall right footed. It'll be emotional to see him back tbh.

Well he only started training with the lads this week. It'll be a special programme but it must be amazing for him to be even on the training pitch after painful physio and rehab with Rhain. Although i do follow him on Insta and he has had it a bit easier than most travelling the world with a team working on him. Mentally though its a tough old slog so at least he's made the most of it.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been given the green light to play a greater role in training sessions with his team-mates after 10 months out with a serious knee injury.

Klopp insists the Reds will continue to be cautious with the £40million midfielder, who is expected to feature for Liverpool Under-23s when he's fully fit before being considered for first-team duty.

“Ox is doing 70% of team training,” Klopp said.

“He trains full but not as much as the others. Then he leaves a bit early to do something else and the things he needs.

“Everyone is always looking for a reaction but nothing has happened yet. We have to prepare him for his entire career, not just one particular game. When he's in training it looks very nice.”

I feel we need someone to arrive at the nick of time and propel us through the run in. A goal scoring Ox might just be what we need.

Great stuff.

Not counting on anything much from him this season, just hope he can manage to get back to the promise he was showing.

Off 5 minutes before h/t which is odd. No sign of injury.

The ignominy of being hooked 4 minutes before half time
