Leicester again, Tuesday 8pm
Must be going ahead or it would've been called off already. We got all our Covid players available again?

Not Sure but I bet Leicester put out a decent team out again after being rested for City.

Vardy was on the bench vs City & didn’t get on the pitch despite needing goals when they got back to 4-3 lol. Fully rested for us

Rodgers would far rather beat us than help us. Tells you all you need to know about the arrogance of the man

I hope Konate takes care of Vardy like he did with Fred

why would you expect anything different from an opposition manager
It says nothing about any manager except for that they would be fulfilling a basic requirement of their job, a will to win for the team they manage

People wondered why Vardy didn't hit a penalty against us, but it was because of a hamstring injury. Expecting him to play a few days later against City was more than a bit optimistic. His replacement also got a goal and 2 assists, so not sure what difference Vardy would have made.

Looking at the Leicester squad against City, only two players benched who played against us was Ndidi and Vardy who both played the 120 mins.

Fair point. Also makes more sense why Vardy wasn't taken off before extra time if he was injured.

Let's just batter them. We can debate whether they put out a weaker team or not against City after that.

Didn’t know Vardy had a hammy injury but makes no sense to have him on the bench if you don’t intend to play him.

I just don't see any way that we don't hammer them. It's a good match for us on paper.

So why did he weaken his side against City so that he could go full tilt against us?

More chance of getting something against us at home than against City at theirs?

I think we’re a bit surprised that he went full tilt against us in the Cup when his team had two tough matches all within a week, obviously he liked his chances of getting to a cup final but that blew up in his face against our reserves, then got dicked by City & hopefully us at their place.

A well rested, near full strength LFC side vs a tired injury ridden Leicester side who cannot defend... I expect us to put a few past them tonight.

But they didn't have a stronger side.
Anyway, Tielemans not playing against us, if I was a city fan I'd be more annoyed about that than a half fit Vardy.

How slow is Matip now? Shit peno by Salah but I'm not sure how much contact there was there anyway.
