Momo Sissoko

Hows he been getting on in Italy?

Brilliantly, I've been watching Juve almost on a weekly basis. His confidence is flowing. Great game tonight against Milan. He's their only good midfielder. Nocerino at his best is like Sissoko when he was in his bad form for us, the ex-Chelsea tiago is shite and Zanetti is injured.

He's been having some swashbuckling performances, big tackles, powerful runs etc. His first game he wasn't great but since then he's been a dominant force and he's becoming quite popular with the fans. After the game Ranieri called said that he is a player that can "do really great things".

I know under the circumstances he wasn't really doing well towards the end of his LFC career and we got a good offer but seriously sometimes when I look at our midfielders underperforming I think we missed out a little. Although it must be said his confidence here was down and who knows if he'd ever have been able to regain that kind of form.

Mick, you are right, the pace suits Momo perfectly. I am glad to see he is doing well, more power to the Momo!

I was thinking on Tuesday night when Torres scored that it would have been great to have Momo in midfield providing he gave another Barca type performance.

Good luck to him in Italy. He will get a great reception if he ever gets back to Anfield.

Well Juve are alost certainties for the CL next season so we'll see him in Europe. Then there'll always be a chance that he may get a game against us. Although I don't know if I'm keen because he could frustrate us all night haha

I think it was his time to depart the pool tbh, Mascher was taking over as the enforcer in the Liverpool midfield.
However it's always good to hear that former players are doing well at there new club. Keep it going big man.

He's still not as good as Mascherano, can't play with him in the middle, and is too good to be his back up. We've got Plessis now who's promising so selling Sissoko was the right thing.

I'm happy he's doing well, he's a good lad who's always tried his best for us and didn't complain. Rafa said it as well.

saw the juve/Ac highlights and he looked tidy but nothing special, Bonera did him with a very late nasty tackle and deservedly got sent off.

That's the Sissoko I'll remember from LFC.

I think its unfair that people remember his form post-injuries, the fact that Rafa was playing him very high up the park in his final months is also to blame. Nobody likes seeing attacks break down so why play a player with such limited passing there anyway?

Missed today's game through injury should be back for the weekend though. Juve won 3-0 but they were pretty lacklustre in the centre of the midfield without him.

Had a dream about Momo last night (wtf?)

Can only remember bits but Thierry Henry was doing a photoshoot when Momo walked by and into the shot, he was wearing a big black fur coat and a bowler hat. I said "Alright Momo, thanks for everything you did at Liverpool" then shouted "Momo is boss" as he walked off.

Anyone tell me what thats about??

Well I have always said that the lad had plenty of talent and that he was unfairly bashed in the latter days of his time here. Great to hear I am being proved right.

Sometimes it's best not to analyse these things too deeply.

I'll have a go:
In your mind Henry represents the glamour side of the game - you admire him and you'd like him at Anfield. Momo is an animal killer, a disrupter, a paid hitman. He doesn't even care to acknowledge your greeting. You feel guilt that your loyalties should be with the dark side even when the dark side does not consider you worth its time.
Disclaimer - brilliant as this analysis may seem, I have no training in dream-reading and just made this up.

Lol, that's class...good effort

Clearly Momo's attire in the dream (Fur coat, bowler hat, cane) represents the status of pimp that I have afforded him. Whilst he was never my favourite player I could see the talent and potential, potential that is now beginning to blossom at Juventus hence Momo's new status of Pimp, as it reflects the confidence he is beginning to get back.

Henry, hmm..possibly represents Barcelona, which is where Momo had one of his better games?

My step daughter's mate is interviewing Momo on Friday, a Ramadan podcast. She's asked me if I have any questions that I'd like to put to him so thought I'd offer it to Est to come up with some suggestions

Surely he knows that song!!! Unless he played with earplugs in?

There has to be a more interesting non 'yes/no' question to ask him?

Ask him what was the most memorable LFC match he played in and why. Or a combined his era-current era LFC XI.
