Fucking hell what a choice! JMJ or Coldplay ! The thought of Chris Martin makes me angry let alone listening to any of the noise he makes.

How he managed to attract Gwyneth Paltrow and Dakota Johnson is quite baffling.

Bout time he scored some goals.

His song seemed slightly disingenuous until tonight.

Koulibaly is the only the player to hold a candle to him at the moment. Impervious.

There is nobody even near him. Our most important player and captain. If every one had even 50% of his composure.. We d be walking the league.

I turned off at the final whistle but I'm betting he didn't get MotM despite them having more possession and more chances on goal

Looking like our most likely source of silverware this year. Player of the Year trophy, he's that good maybe a bus parade.

Writing in his column for the Daily Mirror, Collymore wrote: “I know Pep Guardiola has said he’ll prioritise a full-back and a defensive midfielder in the summer.

He really is our captain. I can see it being taken off Hendo and given to Virgil for next season.

Absolutely faultless again today. He's an absolute machine, and I don't care about Hazard or Sterling or anyone else, no one in the league has come close to the relentlessness of the sort of perfection he's showing. He's probably put one foot wrong all season - the pen he gave away v City. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it, such a high level all the fucking time.

If we win the league he's nailed on to get it.

If we don't then Silva, Aguero or possibly Sterling will get it.

When is it decided? I thought it was before the league season had finished?

I think the PFA one voting closes sometime in March I believe.

But I think both that and the writer's one are announced some time in April aren't they?

absolutely immense today, only problem with him being so good it puts pressure on the other CB/RB as they avoid playing his side.

he is so important in building our attacking play, at the point when the ball went out, he pushed Robertson wide, pulled Matip back in, Trent back about 40 yards and Mo into Trents position, then proceeded a one two with Robertson dragged their team to the left, back to Matip who knocked it to Trent who found Salah in space just as he planned
