Watching the Spurs/Bayern game - v open and entertaining. Spurs 3-1 down although they’ve had more of the chances but Spurs slow in centre back and Winks getting caught in the ball.

Son is a superb player and would love him with us. Phil has nice touches but in the periphery of the game. Kane is kicking all round him and Alli doing f all.

Poch must be under pressure if they lose this.

Dele Alli has fallen off a cliff hasn't he? I don't watch much Spurs I must admit.

Haha what a performance at home from the best team that has ever existed. Wouldn't be surprised if Bayern got another. This is worse than Arsenal!

I know there are some new players, but shows how well we handled them last season.

It is the first time in Tottenham's 137-year history that they have ever conceded seven goals at home in any competition.

I still think they have a very strong squad with some excellent players but either the manager can’t get through to them anymore or some have stopped listening.

I saw Mourinho mentioned in a later post, I think he’d make them a horrible side to play against.

I watched the game last night and Spurs were better for long periods- the difference between the sides was finishing. Bayern’s goals were nearly all worldies, added to that Spurs fell apart towards the end.

I’m not ‘defending’ them and I laughed as the goals flew in. My point is that they are still a good side but something needs to change because their form over the last 20 games or so has been shocking.

How good was Lewandowski last night. Magnificent.

Awesome that we kept him completely nullified with Fabinho and Matip at CB

I've watched the highlights and I've got to say that Bayern's finishing was exceptional. Spurs had their chances and didn't take them. I don't know of the the stats but it wouldn't surprise me if Bayern had 9 shots on goal.

Strange game as I thought Spurs had them on the ropes for he first 30. Bayern couldn't handle the press and were far too languid on the ball. Hence the first goal and some other good chances.

The problem seemed to me was that rather picking their moments to high press, they did it every single time, right out of the blocks, and just ran out of steam on 30 minutes from then on, Bayern were bypassing their front 6 with just one (albeit clever) pass.

Credit to Bayern though as they did play but after first 30, you were thinking Spurs win.

Everton one up.

And ahead of United as things stand. One tiny step closer to the bottom three.

One of the most blatant penalties in the history of the sport not given for Watford. No VAR help either.

Cancelo, Fernandinho and Mendy.

Zaha has to fancy that, if Palace can get the ball.

What an absolute mess VAR has been in the Tottenham game. Blatant pen for Watford not given, a blatant handball by Alli for the equaliser, no goal comes up yet the ref gives it anyway. Fucking shambolic, wonder what way we'll get screwed via it tomorrow.

Got this wrong. Looks like Rodri and Fernandinho at the back.

Either way a lot of tinkering and Mendy and Cancelo not usual starters Wouldn't be ideal at Selhurst.
