Emre Can: Great engine for the Liverpool MF, definitely an EPL player. Can dribble, pass & is strong in the challenge, although often booked
We've got our first stick to beat him with.

Who will be the first to come out with "always giving away silly free kicks in dangerous positions" you reckon?

Many younger players are often booked as they are a bit reckless in the challenge, but correct that later in their careers as they become less conspicuous when they're being dirty.

Also, I know it's been said, but it's extremely impressive how early we pursue top targets under Rodgers.

Hopefully he will do good though, reckon his game time will be limited this season but I'm intrigued to see how he gets on.

Great signing, really thrilled we got this deal done. Will be a huge asset to us in the coming years - and all for 10m

Not a finished product yet, but he's shown the potential is there. Just needs some time to get his game in place... A bit like with Henderson, and well, with most other young talents.

In that video there's a couple of the runs similar to the ones Ross Barkley has been making.

I like the look of this lad, with some shaping he could be really good.

Just less than £10m for the German under 21 captain, champions league experience and a regular in a top German side who has massive potential. This ticks all the boxes for me, a masterstroke of a signing as a powerful and athletic central midfielder was a priority for me and this lad has the potential to be something special

I hope he turns out better than these videos suggest, which is about 65/35 in terms of good stuff vs bad stuff

For me he's another Henderson. He will need to time to be coached but the core of a great player is there so let's give him time and watch him become a mainstay of the side along with Henderson and Coutinho.

for what it's worth i've just looked at Bayer Leverkusen's website and they have listed their squad for 2014-2015 and Emre Can is not on the list

not sure what the hold up for the 'unveiling is' - maybe waiting to announce it as double signing with sanchez to soften the blow of suarez

Think he'll be a very good player. Looks to have good pace, strength, box to box ability. Will compliment the midfield options we have so far very well.

4-5 goals isn't bad going for a 20 year old defensive midfielder that spent most of his time last season at left back in fairness.

Lol, yeah what Gibbo said. Talking about end product and comparing him to Baros is just a touch random for a defensive mid / left back.
