Then lets get the deal done If Pogba has said he'd like to go then it's a transfer that will happen...

Id rather Pogba stay at United.

He's been poor for them. I don't want them getting out from under their crap transfer policy by offloading him or Sanchez

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says a four-year refurbishment of the Bernabeu starting this summer will create the "best stadium in the world".

Perez revealed computerised images of the plans, featuring a retractable roof, on Tuesday.

The 81,000 capacity will be unchanged but Real will be able to play at the stadium while the work is carried out.

Perez said the club could "remain competitive in an increasingly difficult football scenario".

The enhanced venue will cover 66,000 square metres and feature leisure and entertainment facilities. The cost of the Stadium work will be $585 million
The club's members approved an ambitious budget for the development that will put the club into debt of in excess of $640 million for a period of 30 to 35 years in order to finance the stadium upgrades.

"We want this to be a great digital stadium of the future, and it will be paid for by the income its renovation will provide," said Perez.

Perez confirmed that financing details would be released next week and that work on the stadium renovations will get underway at the end of the current season.

The club's plans to improve their stadium look set to run in tandem with their plans to improve their team, with new boss Zinedine Zidane expected to be handed a colossal $550 million transfer kitty to lure the world's best players to the Bernabeu, starting this summer.

Went last year and did a game, to be fair it's very tired and in need of refurb, but without an increase in numbers, they are going be in hoc to the banks for a long time, there is only so much corporate you can fleece. Also add in la Liga is going to begin following the shared method of distribution the PL is, I fucking hope this will bankrupt them.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic has told ESPN FC there has been "no contact" with Real Madrid over the transfer of Luka Jovic.

Reports in Spain from AS had claimed that the two clubs had agreed a €60 million fee to take the Serbia international to the Bernabeu when the transfer window opens in the summer.

"There has been no contact with Real Madrid," Bobic told ESPN FC. "For once, I don't have to use a white lie, they really haven't been in touch yet. I know them very well."

What's up with Bale these days anyway? I really haven't been following any football other than LFC much, does he have attitude, or fitness issues?

I know RM fans hate him, but he absolutely mauled us last year. Would it make sense to bring him in on a cheap?

Figures of 70 + million have been mentioned if Real want to get rid of Bale based on the remainder of his contract...

He's a class player but he gets plenty of niggles although he's done alright this season.

We won't go anywhere near him, old and expensive. There's been talk of a Spurs loan fee and real subsidising his wages. I'd say that's possible, if Levy can scrape something together but I think united will certainly be interested. They'll probably go in with an opening offer of 80m

Whatever the situation he has been a decent player for them, his goals won them the European cup last year. If they want to get rid of him fair enough discuss it with him behind closed doors and keep it respectful. It seems fairly classless to me to come out and say we will do all we can to get rid of him. IMO comments like that should only be said in public in exceptional circumstances not just because some people at the club have taken a dislike to him.

I think Real would have to subsidise his wages by about 70% to make him cheap, think he takes home 350k+ !!!

Destined for United as their Marquee signing if they can offload Sanchez imo.

Good response. Screw everyone in Madrid. No need to be nice now. Screw Zidane, screw the fans and screw the other players. Everyone thinks he has the plague anyway - actually might be the only injury he hasn't picked up yet.

Reading between the lines, this is the first time that money seems to be at the forefront of a manager's mind /anger issues. Hope they end up signing Giroud, Drinkwater and Barkley.
