I think sane fans are realising they are seeing something magical. And they want to be part of the history where "they were there" to tell their friends, grand kids, etc. Unlike Ferguson, Jose, Pep, etc, Klopp really isn't a cnut like our bitter rivals try to make him out.

Just looked at his Wiki page because I can't believe he's less than 2 years older than me. One thing that amazed me is that he's only got a 61% win percentage with us, I thought it would be much higher by now

Considering the start he had with us (not his fault) that's a remarkable figure.

I reckon our cup win percentage must be close to 50% under him. Even in Europe we have had loads of draws/defeats in successful campaigns.

quick scan through 50 games in Europe under him. I make it 26 wins, 24 draws/defeats.

29 domestic cup games 13 wins, 16 draw/defeats.

65% win rate in the PL which is amazing when you consider we’ve lost once in the last 18 months.

Easy to forget how shite we were when he took over.

Just one year older than me. Just checked the winning % and it's the highest of any Liverpool manager ever. Topping even Kenny's first stint. It's amazing considering the that it includes the rebuilding period at the start and it should only get higher from here.

I don't understand all the standing ovations for the way Klopp responded to a reporter's question on whether he's concerned with the potential measures around Coronavirus.

He didn't ask him about vectors, asymptomatic carriers or general policy around quarantine. He was simply asked if he's worried. As a manager of a team that is on the brink of winning major silverware and could be affected, why wouldn't he have an opinion?

Is there something I'm not getting?

Don't quite understand your question.

Have not seen the interview but klopp gave an opinion on CV and got credit for it but you sound like you're
defending his opinion?

I think there is. ‘Are you worried?’ is the same as is there a reason for you to worry? Whether there is a need to worry about the virus affecting Liverpool’s title challenge depends on what happens with the spread of it, which he can’t possibly know. So the question was still do you think the corona virus will spread to the point where containment measures will cancel football matches?, and Klopp rightly said that he hasn’t a fucking clue because he’s a football manager rather than an expert in public health. He says he’s not worried and he is a public persona seen as playing down the risks, he says he is worried and he is a high profile person helping to spread fear, maybe unnecessarily. As he rightly said, it’s not an issue that people in his job and position should be asked about.

He absolutely nailed it. If he’d said literally anything else he creates a headline. Good to see even though we may be off form on the pitch Klopp is still pitch perfect off it.

Yep, far too much asking (often totally fucktarded) famous people for their opinions on important stuff they know nothing about. 2 of my Manc mates have already contacted me to say how Klopp is a class act, which clearly grates on them.

Yeah I get it now. I thought the general question was in good faith (is it on your mind) but I can see Klopp is a 4D chess kind of guy and didn't want to deliver an opinion or a headline.

Fuck he'd make an excellent politician.
