His first interview was full of shit questions with the usual answers.

They're probably relevant for someone like Lambert but for a 19 year old Belgian from French football?

If he's available for selection, Lille play Grasshoppers at 18:00 tonight in CL qualifier.

I'd maybe have looked for a stream if I was at home.

I think it would have been 2010 so just about I think.

I think most big clubs have this type of footage saved though nowadays.

But the scouts were working for Citeh. They must have taken their 'cassettes' with them

Not sure if the cassettes () are company property. I'd assume the scouts have to leave those behind.

Came on in the 84th minute the other day in Lille's champions league match against Grasshoppers.

He can't even get in the Lille team

Looking forward to seeing how he gets on this season, and the inevitable moans that we shouldn't have loaned him as our own forwards struggle.

He played very well.

Got injured few minutes before the end of the game but hopefully it is nothing serious.

He's bloody quick
Deffo could have used him in our team this year for sure but that was part of the deal.
Cheers Moz, how's this new law about football videos on social media going to be got around then?

Thanks for that Mos. I wanted to ask, where do you get all those footage of matches. You obviously watch all the match (or most of it) to make a montage?

It appears that PL wants to stop vines primarily but it is a concern until it is determined how serious they are going to be and will twitter and vine co-operate with their demands to suspend the users of those accounts.

There are multiple sites you can go to such as:

rojadirecta.es

matchhighlights.com

soccershouts.com

and many, many more.

This kid looks absolutely rapid, a year on loan playing regular football will be invaluable and we'll have a hell of a player on our hands next season

No problem SB.

He has potential to be a top striker.

A full season of playing regular football in Lille will do him a lot of good.

Unless we sign another striker we could have guaranteed him regular football most likely too. I know it was the deal sealer though that we let him stay for the season. Can't wait to see him in action for us next year now. Hopefully I'll be more impressed than I was with Gonzalez when he finally pulled on his kit for us.

what a surprise.

Divock Origi has revealed that he rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur to move to Liverpool this summer.

The 19-year-old striker joined the Merseyside outfit from Lille for a reported transfer fee of £10million last month and was immediately sent back to the Ligue 1 club on loan for the 2014/15 season.

Origi was one of the key players for the Belgium side that reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup earlier this summer.

The teenager's impressive performances in Brazil saw him linked with a number of top European clubs, including Tottenham, but the striker insists that his heart was set on playing for Liverpool once manager Brendan Rodgers had personally spoken to him.

“I took a lot of time to sign because, suddenly, there were a lot of clubs interested in me," Origi told the Daily Mirror.

"Big Spanish, Italian and German clubs wanted me but my dream was to play in the Premier League. I also went to Tottenham but of the clubs interested, I chose Liverpool.

"The coach alled me often, he invited me over, showed me a compilation of my matches since I was in the Under-15s and knew everything about me.

"At the club, everyone knew me, from the person doing the video analysis to the chef. My father told me to choose with my heart and I chose Liverpool and I don't regret it for a minute."

Was trying to follow him this season but cant watch their games anymore, without doubt the dullest side ever. Easy to see why they kept 12 clean sheets in a row last season put it that way!

He's looked lively and done some brilliant stuff everytime I've seen him but gets the ball about once every 10 minutes.

I've watched bits of their games too, you're right, proper snoozefest. He easily stands out as their best player though, which is annoying as they often waste him by playing him out wide.

He's rapid though. 'Jet heeled'.

Their midfield is terrible, they have no creativity whatsoever and he lacks proper support to make the meaningful contribution.

Vs Porto (home and away) he had no shots on the goal.

Also he is played out of position as a left winger but I suppose playing regularly vs not playing is still a good thing for his development.

He'll be playing vs Lukaku who lost his place in Belgium NT to Origi during the WC.

This will be interesting.
