He obviously scored last night, but didn't look 100%. If it wasn't for Golden Boot, I think we'd definitely rest him, but after Saturday there is 8 days rest before West Brom, so we might take the risk.

He could play in second gear against Bournemouth and still score a hat-trick, but if he picked up an injury, we'd be kicking ourselves for risking him.
Play him. He is in a rythym scoring goals every game and we need the win.

When are the semis?

I'd rest him. We'll need him fully fit in two weeks!

I'd bench him Saturday and give him 25 minutes to loosen him up

The semi-final will take place on April 24 and 25 and May 1 and 2.

Liverpool travel to West Brom in Gameweek 35’s reduced schedule before the tie, entertain Stoke City in between the two legs and then travel to Chelsea (in Gameweek 37) on the Sunday after the semi-final is completed.
So,

WBA- 21st
Roma- 24th/25th
Stoke- 28th
Roma- May 1st/2nd
Chelsea- May 6th

What's the reasoning behind CL teams playing Tuesday one week and Wednesday the next? Doesn't make sense that some teams get 8 days between fixtures, and the others only 6, normally with a league game inbetween.

I'd go strong as poss on Saturday, a win seals top 4 pretty much then we can do what we like for West Brom, Stoke and Chelsea and full strength v Brighton as we wave them off before Kiev.

I'm really hoping we don't play on the 2nd. I'll have to miss it.

Klopp said he's 100% fit and I believe it. He's certain to start.

Did you not think he looked a bit reluctant to chase back at times last night and looked a little off pace?

Nah he is was our only forward for the second. Looked sharp for the second which forced the mistake. Mostly though if he was carrying something no way would he have been left on til the 89th minute as our last sub.

I thought he looked like he was struggling at times and that was one of the reasons he was moved into the centre.

Maybe it was just me then, as I knew in the back of my mind he picked up that injury.

I thought Salah didn't look right in first half but second half he looked as sharp as ever. So hopefully 100% fit and ready to start at the weekend. He will be itching to play in the league to try get more goals.

It was the formation and the pressure we were under first half for a lot of players.

Must have been some half time.

Has any player ever had a better first season than Salah is having with us? His numbers are nuts, but when you factor in this is his first season it really is incredible.

He defended well 1st half - but given we couldn't string 2 passes together he was never going to be at his best in an attacking sense

Seriously? He was awarded that? What the actual fuck were they thinking? Mo will have to sink a hat trick on Saturday to set things straight.

I can see it now at the weekend......Bobby after rounding the keeper, stopping the ball on the line, waiting for Salah to move in before touching it over to him......without looking naturally........for Mo to stick it in with his sac.

They were thinking that the league is already decided so trying to drag out the golden boot for as much entertainment value as possible would be good for business.

I thought that too, but then I thought that maybe he was the player being left further forward in the event of a counter attack. Mane and Firmino are naturals when it comes to defending for the team, but it also left Terence a little exposed for a while, until he grew into the game.

such a bizarre thing,he should be more arsed about playing the team top of the league at the weekend, FA cup semi and staying fit for the World Cup than nicking goals off teammates.

Wish we would stay out of it and the ensuing media nonsense. No need to be drawn into pointless battles

Stick to our normal game, focus on top 4 and winning the champions league and Mo will win it anyway.

Hopefully they are level on the last game of the season, Kane goes into a 1 and 1 with the keeper pokes it home, does his ankle and misses the world cup and Fa cup final, Mo pokes two home and is carried on a throne all the way to Kiev.

100% he looked off the pace & reluctant to chase back & should be rested this weekend. If we cant feed fodder without him weve got a problem.

If it was me, I would rest him, but I'm fairly certain Klopp will play him (if fit). Klopp has referenced a few times about helping him finish top scorer and with Kane having two games this week, not to mention that joke goal he was given, I can't see Klopp resting him.

Klopp let Mane and Salah go to the African POTY awards on the night before we played Everton as it was important to them, so if Salah was passed fit and wanted to play, I don't think he would stop him.

The last quote from Salah reads:

"When we saw the draw, everyone knew it would be a difficult game, but I said we had to be positive and win. That's what we did."

Typical. Taking all the credit. text

Ronaldo never achieved that either?

Surely Spurs are raising this with the FA? Must go to Kane for that wonderful goal he never scored.
