Our fullbacks have ti be supermen physically, and be able to play, defend and cross, and get their positioning right.

Thats a big ask for anybody, let alone a kid.

I do think we need a more viable backup.

Obviously not just based in this game but Origi and Ox havenít kicked on from last season, Iím sure Ox will stay given his versatility and the home grown aspect but being shunted out to the wing doesnít do him any favors.

Origi had the opportunity to build on his superb end to last season but he just seems to be lost when we have played recently, again his sporadic appearances havenít helped him get any rhythm.

I know I shouldnít be arsed but itís annoying watching us being shite

Yeah one of Ox's better games in this forward role.

Had a bad game v City, when the entire team can be forgiven after the celebrating. But has been all energy since with maybe 4 assists I can think of.

Such a massive gap up front, for me. No real threat in there.

Not signing Werner was a mistake. We need to maybe sell Origi and bring a quality player in. Origi has scored some legendary goals, but he does not really suit our system, and we cant seem to get the best out of him.

Werner was a disappointment for me as well but with CV having knocked about £100m off the balance sheet i think its perfectly understandable. Also, the transfer team get an A* over the last few years so they have plenty of good grace over whatever their plans are for a few years.

We should win this comfortably now.

Salah will get some minutes, I'm sure of that. Hopefully he'll get his 20th goal.

Joe Gomez has been pretty poor since the break. Didnt he play in about 10 games in a row where we didnt concede earlier in the season?

He needs to reset.

Agreed... We may have a better option.

But I worry we wont. And if it is the money, ffp is over 3 seasons, so I am not sure it is that bigger deal. Especially if Salah or Mane leave in the next couple of years.

But yeah... I should perhaps have more faith.

We definitely need to freshen up and put a bit of competition in the team

Also... I like that Milners punishment for calling Manure "fucking wankers" on camera is the captaincy in the last game
