What’s even madder is I’ve convinced myself that this useful fucker will mastermind a result vs City on Wednesday
That useless fucker managed to win 12 of his first 13 games in charge.

I don't think it's as simple as that. Jose didn't manage better either.

They will take points off City.

Wolves fan here. Just to let you know that the vast majority of us want your lot to beat Liverpool to the title. We will do our utmost to take points off Liverpool on the final day as we all want revenge for the last match in 75/76 when they won the title & relegated us. We have a good record against the top teams. Just keep winning your games & we will do our bit on May 12th.

You're correct but still good to take the piss out of manc mates.
Cant believe they brought pogba back who fergie knew was a wanker, sanchez who wasnt too arsed, and then a few more lazy mercenary wankers on mental money, they are super fucked.
Possibly ole could get a good team to play but i dont see him being the hard nosed strong character to exert his authority on some of these wankers.

That seems to be the attitude of most clubs fans in the country. We really are the most hated club and fans in the country.

It seems to be a anyone but Liverpool attitude. If we do miss out on the title then the street party's that will happen around the country will be the likes never seen before. I'm expecting them to make it a national holiday.

I get that. It's just his bs in the post.

1. Vast majority? Yeah ok, like he's spoke to everyone
2. Revenge for 44 years ago? Half their fans weren't even born
3. The players won't even know about '75 so it's completely irrelevant
4. We'll do our bit. Yeah, fans in the away end often win games lol

It doesn't surprise me considering Wolves are Man city 2.0 with them being bankrolled as well.

I was at that game. Missed school and a mate and his dad drove me to Wolves. We got there early (as did half of Liverpool) but they didn't open the gates early. As a result the crush was truly horrible and to escape it I ended up climbing over the top of the building that housed the turnstiles. Such acts are not in my nature, but I was desperate because it was agony.1-0 down, then 1-1 and the Liverpool crowd burst out of its end. Ended up watching the next two (?) goals from the grass alongside the pitch, all thoughts about the crush forgotten.

In the school the next day, my mate was punished for sagging off. But not me. So free ride, free entrance, league winning performance and no detention.

Those were the days!

Wolves 76 is one of my earliest football memories - listening on my portable radio with an ear piece so the folks couldn't hear when I was supposed to be asleep.

It was goal average in those days rather than goal difference which meant it was nowhere nearly as simple as win lose or draw because certain score lines which on the face of it were positive actually weren't in practice. So the whole process was even more tense because aged precisely sod all there was no way I could work out which scores were ok and which weren't.

Weird times.

Loads of scousers were locked out of that game that day, Phil Thompson asked Paisley if he could open the dressing room exit to let in a couple of his family who haven't got tickets and they can make their way to stand, no fuss. Paisley agreed and he opens the door and about 40-50 come rushing through whilst the players were getting ready.

Bob remarked to Phil that he has a very big family and we go and win the title.

That confused me anyway. Was thinking you must have had a terrible childhood if you were sent to bed at 3 O'clock on a Saturday afternoon!

Burnley giving Chelsea a good game, gives us hope they'll do the same against City.

Nah, they'll drop their kecks, and spread their cheeks nice and wide, like most teams in this league seem to do when Pep and co come to town.

I always assumed the 74 in your username was the year you were born. Although thinking about it, that would mean you tried to sign up to Est only to find there were already 5 or 6 Cormacks registered

There’s nothing in this for Burnley and Chelsea need the points.

Burnley needed a point to be safe so its huge for them. If they get it now they have nothing to play for against City. City will smash them. Really needed Chelsea to win tonight

Nope, homage to the 1974 cup final . . even though I never actually watched it until about 2005

They did need a point mathematically. But they weren’t really in trouble no way are all the teams below them going on mad winning runs. They’ll give City a game.

Fuck it - I am going full on positive until either we win it or it literally cant happen this season.

Disagree Dan, Burnley are one of those gnarley sides that are ‘honest’. They’ll make it v hard for City and the only issue for me is that it’s not sandwiched between a Champions League semi final

We've really pissed off Southampton.
They'll be in the Championship before long, they've sold all their best players.

Actually I'm heartened there are so many ManU and Everton fans on our side.

No idea, I doubt Paddy Power have put much effort into conducting a quality survey.

Probably just asked new sign ups who do they prefer and who they want to win the league.
