Worst football pundit?

My god there are some bad ones out there but the person who I detest the most is Rodney Marsh. The man is a complete gobshite. He's so fecking arrogant it's unreal; you'd think he must've had a wonderful career in football the way he carries on. He was at it again in THe Star today - sniping at Rafa; I couldn't be bothered reading the whole of the article because all of that fecking peroxide has obviously affected that minute cockney brain of his.

So Marsh gets my vote - but who gets yours?

Oops - wrong forum - please move mods.

Last year (I think) Bascombe or someone at the Echo, cant really remember, done a piece taking the piss out of him as he'd be going to every country saying for example, in Italy he'd be like "Totti is the best player in the World, no one can touch him" in England "Gerrard is the best player in the World" in Spain "Raul is the best player in the world", there was loads of laughable stuff in there, he seems a bit of a div.

Too right.

I think he gets people's backs up cos he can't pronounce any foreign names. Sissossko for fucks sake. It used to annoy me but I got over it - he does actually watch and pay attention to games, and offers decent analysis. There are few pundits on telly who highlight tactical issues you may not have noticed yourself.

The man is about as sharp as a crayon, I dont think anyone listens to him. He does any sport going. He is Sky's Jim Rosenthal.

someone had rung in talking about the game and then spoke about the six minutes to which peter beagrie spoke very highly of the protest and the dignified manner in which it was carried out cue newbons "well on that high note we`ll go to a break" very sarcastically

I really HATE saying this but it's gotta be ex red Jamie Redknapp, cringeworthy to watch at times although he does
seem to be improving week on week, thank christ.

Used to love that show, that was when Rob McCaffrey was the presenter though, that Gary Newbon bloke does my head in, doesn't let the callers get their say in half time and is a patronising aul cnut, still watch the odd time but cannnot stand that man.

I'm afraid to say you're right. Why Sky have placed so much faith in Redknapp is beyond me. Maybe they just want a pretty face, but he sure as hell can't string a fuckin sentence together.

Aye they must want a pretty face, i mean he comes across as a nice bloke does our Jamie which makes it all the more uncomfortable watching him on with the expereinced campaigners Keys and Gray, he tries to be clever me thinks, thinks a lil too deeply and goes off the point quite frequently.

I was having this conversation with an Arsenal fan the other day and they thought Jamie was one of the best pundits. Not sure what that says but he was quite an intelligent fan, so maybe we are just harsh on our ex-players. Particularly if like Mr Redknapp they are not obviously fawning over our current team.

cant stand him, he annoys the fuck out of me.

You guys in England woudlnt get him but here in Oz unfortunately do...his name Tommy Smyth, quite possibly the most annoying voice ive ever heard. He's this little Irish twat on ESPN, who loves Man Utd and hates Liverpool. Im geting angry just talking about the little twat.

Craig Foster on SBS follows closley behind

One of the best ive seen is Simon Hill, who does the commentry here for SBS in Oz. He is always on the ball, and i love the way he corrects Foster when he's made a mistake. class

Spackman especially cause when Liverpool were playing good he'd give us the big up and since Chelski got the money a few years back he's been giving them nothing but praise always mentioning that he's an ex player of them :whatever: and two years ago he was all about Liverpool :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

I think Keysey is alright, then again I only have to endure him for 30 minutes a week. My vote goes for Steve Macmahhon by a country mile, ignorant rude cnut who has the personality of a brick and of coarse as is standard has a bee in his bonnet about liverpool. The kind of bloke you just want to lamp one
