€95m - not bad.
Ironically, that's roughly the same the Goons offered last year plus what it cost them for Sanchez which is the line I am taking when speaking to Goons who say they have weakened us and strengthened at the same time.

Good luck Luis.
We move on though. Wish you all the best for the future unless you are drawn against us in the CL.

Lets not kid ourselves. His move away was always going to happen, it was just a case of when. He would have probably moved in this transfer window regardless of the WC nibble
We have seen great players at Liverpool over the years. Luis was probably the best of them because of his burning desire to win
Am I angry or sad at him leaving? No angry, but a little sad. The anger I have had through him is mainly directed towards the gutter press and their continuous witch hunt
Thanks for the great memories Luis and for helping us to get back into the CL
I remember when he left Ajax he went back to say goodbye to the fans. I really hope that he makes the journey to Anfield to say goodbye

Definitely not angry but it's sad to see such a good player leave. It's incredible the progress that we've made since he signed.
Oh FFS. I'm sad.

Note to Sky Sports -
Yet another world-class player gets out of the best league in the world to get over to Spain.

People can react how they like. I will always love the guy. He provided so much joy. Good luck to him, hope he tears La Liga to shreds.

Aspas......he's working his way down to 0, and then we'll finally be rid of him.

Yeah forgot Coutinho had 10 already! Uless it's a new superstar signing (sorry MrM!) then Sterling seems the prime candidate. Would be a big honour but a lot of pressure on him!

If £75m is true then it's amazing news. Cracking deal for a 28 year old who'll miss a big chunk of next season and is one step away from a banasaurus rex. Nice to get it out of the way good and early so we can get ready for next season. Can't wait!

Let's not kid ourselves, Suarez was DETERMINED to leave. Any player that is desperate to leave shouldn't be having quotes attributed to him about "falling in love with the club" blah, blah, blah. Most of the fans aren't mugs!
Anyway, we've managed to receive a massive sum of money for him - rightly so - and we need to ensure that we build as good a squad as possible for the coming season.

Give number 9 to Sturridge and 7 to Sterling. That's where its at fro Liverpool now. Those players are excellent and should be backed to the hilt by the club - don't forget the amount they have been brought on by playing and learning from Suarez every week he was here.
Good luck Luis - I have loved watching you play.
NOTE - LFC - DO NOT MOVE ANY MORE PLAYERS INTO THE FORMER TORRES HOUSE!!!

quite interested to see what happens with barca
on paper it's unbelievable - Neymar/Messi/Suarez
however no matter what the other two do - they will always be second fiddle to Messi - he's the man and if they don't toe the messi line it won't work...
also - i'd add - barca didn't 'fail' last season because they needed a 'suarez' - they have far more problems than that. - Whilst adding suarez may be a big signing - if they don't sort out their defence and find another way of playing than tika taka then it won't make much difference

Things will be very different for them next season. Rebuilding year really. It's going to be fascinating to see how they do.

Totally agree - having 3 of the best attacking players in the world in one starting eleven might sound good but it'll be difficult to integrate. Suarez is a team player though so I'd imagine he'd adapt his game to best fit with Messi and Neymar.
Suarez has been given the #9 shirt so it looks like he's going to the focal point of the attack with Messi and Neymar playing behind him.

I dunno, I just sort of wanted to preserve it as his time at the club, not have it drag on after and it get vole cunty or maudlin or whatever. Silly but the killing of the uber thread feels kind of symbolic (in random and ultimately meaningless forum terms). Though it is sort of arbitrary and could not have been done like that.
And I sort of made it look like rcasemore did it
