Superb tonight.

2 outrageous finishes. Beautiful turn in the box second half. Led the line. It’s a waste of time playing him wide, he’s a centre forward.

Showing the sort of form that made some posters on here compare him to Thierry Henry.

Excellent tonight, great movement, great goals and some vital bits of skill in the corner to retain possession and manage the game.

I think his finishing shows that Mane and Salah are still wingers who create lots of chances whereas he's a proper striker. I honestly couldn't put a value on him over the past 12 months, he's been that good when required.

Feels like every time he scores it’s a really big goal, what a quality to have from a player. Was great tonight.

It was a great performance all round. Derby games are always niggly and physical and he lapped that up and held the ball up really well with impressive strength. And two top quality goals.

Owned Mina.

He probably wishes he could play Everton every week.

Best performance for us IMO, tremendous.

He's now got 5 derby goals for us, which means only Rush (25), Gerrard (10), Beardsley (6) and Fowler (6) have more than him in the modern era

He doesn't gel that well within the other front three, could we be seeing a plan be with both him and Shaq coming in in some games?

Heart rate of a serial killer in pressure situations.

His two finishes were so calm - perfect decision making in split second increments.

I think this is probably the start of the rotation, I expect to see more of Origi, Shaqiri and Lallana in the next few weeks.

Love it. Criminally underestimated. If Bergkamp or Henry had scored that 2nd goal last night, the Sky team would have made the world stop with their non-stop wanking over it.

His second goal was my favourite of the season so far.

Reminded me a bit of that Suarez goal against norwich but the finish makes it better. Calmly lofts it over Pickford.

He had an absolute field day against their centre halves. Destroyed them with his pace several times.

Two superb finishes last night. Great to see him playing in the middle upfront last night. I have been wanting to see him start there for a while. He's a big powerful skillful unit and needs space to play. I feel he runs out of space when he is utilised out wide

He was the perfect player, and lucky to have such a strong supporting cast.

I wonder what some of the best players of yore would be like if they were in their 20s today and following modern training and diet methods. Players like Rush, Barnes and Souness.

I hope it finally ends the nonsense of playing him out wide.

Play him through the middle, and he's much better.

I know the front three are undroppable, but I honestly think he could contest Firmino, as amazing as he is, for the starting spot in the strongest line-up every now and then. Completely different type of player and probably not as suitable to our system as Firmino, but always offers that danger for the goal that Firmino maybe doesn't as much.

Its fairer for the lad to play central and he's more effective. But he has done a job out wide from time to time.
