I think we need to let Ox star games in centre midfield.

Alongside 2 of Gini/Hendo/Milner until Fab is fit.

Nah the midfield functions perfectly well as it is.

If he doesn't start at home to Brighton, not sure where he gets a game to be honest

Although he did look like he was limping at little at the end of the game - could have been my imagination though

Mainly. But Fabinho is suspended on Sat, and or injured for the next few weeks. Ox looks sharp. He’ll play.

Hendo sitting behind Gini and Ox will be the Brighton midfield, I think. Don't think Milner will play 2 games running, and I don't think Klopp will use Lallana as the Fab cover....

Milner, Keita, Shaqiri, Henderson, Wijnaldum (providing he's recovered as it seems he is training again), Curtis Jones. Not sure I'd say we're "light".

Well when I said it Gini is still injured. So that gives us 4 first team regular midfielders (plus CJ) & one of those is mid thirties so we shouldn’t be looking to play him twice in a week. It’s not an abundance either.

Easily forgotten to be fair. Just hoping we pick up no more casualties over the festive period & we can get a few back on deck.

Curtis Jones may be looking at the situation and thinking he's got a shot after coming off the bench in the Bournemouth game.

Personally I’d like to see Curtis given more minutes to aid his progress. It’s either that or a loan deal at this stage of his development.

Yeah, no details on if it was ruptured or what grade or strain it was but it looks like he got away with a much lesser injury than it first appeared.

We should have a good few players returning by February with a bit of luck. Lovren, Matip, Fabinho and maybe Ox.

Yeah I think his reaction was understandably a little excessive as he probably thought the worst but no stretcher was always a good sign

I'm not sure he's the brightest of lads. What the fuck was he doing celebrating like mad on those crutches? Unless the boot means he can't damage it any further. Love his character though, great guy.

Maybe you're not the brightest of supporters and he can celebrate with a moonboot?

It'd have been fine. Rotation would cause further problems.
