Is clyne still here and not on loan somewhere?
Remember his mysterious long term illness and the conspiracy theorists (me) going into overdrive

Maybe shak is also suffering from the same mystery condition

He's listed in the injury lists, just not mine because I don't class him as a Liverpool player any more.

Harsh. He's one of ours until he signs elsewhere.

Today feels massive, a proper heavy weight clash. It was the games between us that essentially was the difference between winning and losing the league last season. Home advantage, they are missing some key players and our current run of form make us favorites. I had wondered if I’d take a draw and move on but feck that - a win here lays a marker and might actually set the tone for the rest of the season.

Up the Reds, let’s smash these plastics.

Finally.

Treat this like a CL game and we can really hammer them.

Really will be a massive opportunity missed if we drop any points in this one.

Absolutely can't fucking wait! I'd take a draw but I think we're more than capable of getting all three points.

Let's aim to put massive pressure on Bravo and their back four. Just need to watch those breaks with Sterling.

chance to make a massive statement today. On our patch and if we play well and take the game to them we could do them damage. Need to put them under serious pressure, that backline is ropey as anything. I have no doubts they will try that ball over the top onto runners that has been giving us trouble all season but hopefully lads are on form today.

Hope Anfield is absolutely bouncing!

4:30pm on a Sunday, plenty of ales sunk already I guess?

Are Sunday kick-offs affected by the next day being a work day?

Hate when people say this- itís a 38 game season, you can look at any of the games we didnít win and say it was the difference!

I do agree that it is massive though, and psychologically, we could really knock them with a win! If we beat them, it will be great that they have to dwell over it for 2 weeks and then have a tricky game against Chelsea waiting for them!!

Come on the pool, smash these cunts!! #BusWankers

It will. A draw would allow us one more slip up before we go to City, where we obviously could lose, and then we're behind. 6 points isn't as big as some are saying.

It's the knock on effect too. City lose and I expect them to slip up against at least one of Chelsea (h), Newcastle (a), Burnley (a). Win and I expect them to blow them away.

Likewise, if we lost, the pressure would really be on away to Palace.

apart from a half 5 sat this is the best kick off time as everyone will be on the ale early doors and a pissed anfield crowd is great

Yes it’s a 38 game season but when two sides are so dominant versus the rest of the league then the head to heads are massive in the final outcome.

I have the feeling we are going to thump them for some reason

Even if Rodri and Silva play, they'll be coming off the back of injuries and our pressing game will wear them the fuck out.

I reckon it will be a Henderson, Gini and Fabinho midfield with Milner and Oxlaide-Chamberlain available from the bench to help keep our heads or score another goal.

Iíve been a critic of Hendo from time to time but mainly his use of the ball as opposed to his work rate and team ethic. This game however, I think is tailor made for him.....Anfield under the lights with the chance to get stuck into them from the start and use his athleticism to dominate them. I think he is going to have a massive game.

I also think these high tempo games suit Gini so I am comfortable when our midfield is set up to spoil the opposition as it plays to their strengths. I know City are ridiculously talented but I wonder if they are mentally there this season....if we are right at it from the start then I think we might blow them away. Iím normally terrified of these games but for some reason I think they wonít be able to live with our intensity- I hope Iím right

I think lying about injuries of three players is a pretty shit and petty thing to do if I am honest. Cant see Klopp doing it. Pep is rattled and if we win, I think Pep will not handle the aftermath too well.

Obviously absolutely anything could happen and it's impossible to make a confident prediction, but I just think that we are so fucking ravenous at the moment that that might just give us the edge. Those tiny differences in motivation levels are massive, and for them the motivation to win it for a third time on the spin must pale in comparison to our hunger to win it for a first time. Like rodo said, it's going to be feral today and that intensity on and off the pitch will hopefully swing it in our favour.

Yeah it's pretty classless, especially in the days after everyone saw Gomes suffer an actual horrific injury, not a surprise from him though the Mr Human rights hypocrite. He's vermin.

Liverpool vs Man City - Premier League (19/20 - Game 12)

Donít know why DeGea playing and if Emerson starts should affect us. We definitely played the occasion not the team in front of us at Old Trafford. Should have put Utd to bed early doors as they were shite. Letís hope Pepís mind games backfire on him if Ederson does start... sinking to OGS/Fergie tactics is just snide. Letís hope Salah sticks three past whoever is in between the sticks...

Pep thinking that he is getting some sort of mental tactical advant by resurrecting one if his injured players, small time shit house.
klopp will be laughing at him in his team talk, we need henderson in full bully mode.
