Don’t get me wrong, very nice and very classy...

But fuck me, we all should be avoiding unnecessary interactions, with people we don’t know, right now and certainly wouldn’t be getting up close and personal with homeless guys. The last thing we need right now, is Mo getting sick.

It's a bit weird. Why does this random woman have access to a CCTV still from the petrol station?

It’s someone’s job to operate it

Once it’s shared online, anyone can get hold of it.

I get that but she's just some random Salah fan from Egypt, how has she broken the news?

There's something distasteful about giving a homeless person a few bob while standing next to a car that would buy a house with change left over.

I know Mohamed isn't burning fifty pound notes in his face but the stark contrast between rich and poor doesn't sit right.

Best Mo turns in his nice car for a 15 year old Ford focus.

He’s better than all of us.

Quote:
The opening of a new ambulance center, donated by the footballer to the village, was announced this week by Tarek Rahmy, mayor of Gharbia.

Salah’s father, Haj Salah Ghaly, was present at the announcement, along with Dr. Magdy Awad, head of Gharbia’s ambulance institute, and Dr. Abdel Naser Hemeida, Gharbia’s health ministry representative.

The ambulance center, which reportedly cost 600,000 Egyptian pounds ($37,200), will serve 30,000 people in the village.

Salah does not forget his roots, something he proves time and again through his actions. The ambulance center is only the latest act of charity in a long list of good deeds by the Egyptian superstar.

In Nagrig, girls had to travel long distances to receive an education. So, in 2018, Salah financed the building of a girls’ school in the village. He also bought land to donate to Gharbia, which will be used to build a sewage treatment plant, guaranteeing clean water in the region.

The Liverpool winger previously bought medical equipment for his village and also set up a charity foundation to supply the needy on a monthly basis.

He helped his old school set up a football pitch and gym so students could enjoy proper facilities to practice sports and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Most recently, Salah donated food to the city of Basyoun during the COVID-19 pandemic.

His charity also reaches beyond his hometown. He helped Egypt by making a 5 million Egyptian pound donation to the “Tahya Masr Fund” in 2016. Last year Salah donated more than 50 million Egyptian pounds to the National Cancer Institute.

The charity institution also provides a monthly allowance to around 450 families and food donations, where he personally checks on the donations regularly.

After the terrorist attack that happened back in 2019 near the institute, where a vehicle loaded with explosives caused 20 deaths and 50 injuries, Salah donated 2.5 million to the institute to help restore its facilities.

57357 Hospital specializing in children’s cancer has received a generous 12 million from Salah to help equip the hospital with more updated, sophisticated medical equipment.

All the previously mentioned initiatives are extremely considerate, yet this kind of activity is maybe the cutest! Not just that he cares for the wellbeing of the people surrounding him, but he has a thing for animals as well. Before gaining fame, he used to carry food all the way from his home to his local club at Bassioun village, just so he can feed newly born puppies.. so wholesome!

We can say with huge confidence that the king of charity, Mo Salah, hasn’t only been a goal-scoring marvel in football matches, but in life as well. His charitable initiatives are legendary and can never be discussed in a single article.

Salah isn’t just a football player but a public figure with a huge influence. He’s undoubtedly the epitome of generosity and kindness, and not getting carried away by fame or wealth but stayed grounded with millions of people looking up to him.

Salah has the nickname “the happiness maker” for a reason. While his actions on the pitch inspire, those off the field matter just as much.

Like I said, he's not exactly burning notes and rubbing the person's nose in it but the contrast is unsettling.

Distasteful. Unsettling.

That's an odd interpretation of the story FB.

I'd like to say I sort of see your point, the bigger picture etc, but your defence of 'at least he's not burning £50 notes", definitely insinuates that Mo has done something wrong in this story.

Like I say, odd.

Sorry, I guess I'm just commenting based on the image by itself, the contrast between an extreme luxury car and a homeless person.

I'm no way do I think this reflects badly on Salah btw.

Distasteful wasn't the right word to use.

That's fair enough on the actual image itself, but your post read like it was directed at Mo.

Yeah, if he even once doesnt pass that cancels all of those out. (the whole, 'you shag one sheep' analogy).

Some astonishing passing there, and a few that dont end in the goals the pass deserves.

When you look at how hard going it has been for Werner and Havertz to get League goals for Chelsea, or Pepe at Arsenal you realise how spoilt we have been with Mane and Salah. Both started scoring bucket loads of goals for us instantly.

This got missed in all the drama. 100 goals already (159 games). Looking very sharp this season. 6 in 5.
