Bad as he is we won 11 league games with him last season - not all on him. Zero protection tonight - the whole team were fucking shit

One note for Adrian is to stay off Twitter for a while

No don't agree, concedes in pretty much every game he plays, cannot play with the ball at his feet & is not a good fit for us at all.

I know you don't pluck them out of thin air, but Adrian cannot be the answer until Xmas.

His confidence was shot before the Atletico game. I'd imagine that game destroyed him

It's clear that the back 4 have zero confidence in him.

You'd think pre-match Klopp is telling him to keep it simple, don't make any mistakes etc

4 mins into the game he gifts them a goal.

The lads head's gone, time to move on.

Pepe Reina is warning the bench at Lazio

He'd be worth a punt.

Valencia are desperate to get rid of Jasper Cillessen. Not amazing but fits our style and would be available, pretty expensive though.

Klopp has said Alisson is out for a few weeks. If true we'll do nothing. But we can't really trust injury reports.

He must have been on the San Miguel before tweeting that out. Come to think of it, he must have been on it before the match started.

I think he's good enough number 2. His last 3-4 performances haven't been. Getting chucked in now and again is difficult. More concerned about the number 1s injuries.

Guarantee we will not be top4 with 3 months of Adrian, remembering we are playing Sat/Sun & mid week until Xmas.

Oh well, lets hope we can finish 3rd in our champs league group

You'd think the players would be clever enough to not keep passing the ball back. Robbo had no need to ping that ball back so early in the gsme. Concede a throw. Keep it away from the weakest link.

I can't see it either but the window is open for domestic transfers for another 10 days so we've time to bring someone else in.

That's just between Premier League and EFL clubs. If we want to sign a GK in the PL or abroad, we have to do it today. If it's from the Championship and below, then we have until 16th October.

Yeah you beat me to it. My mistake. Still, there's gotta be someone in the Championship better than Adrian. Is Big Andy Lonergan doing owt?

I don’t think yesterday will have gone unnoticed with Klopp etc, I’d imagine at the very least we will be trying to get someone. A keeper who let in seven will be shot to bits confidence wise.

I think big Ady is an old school keeper. Occasionally good reflex shot stopper. But everything else, confidence, ball at feet, command of area he is the emperors new clothes.

It has always seemed that there was nobody more surprised than him when we swooped in for him last summer. He’s a glorified Andy Lonergan.

Rushing to bring someone in on deadline day just isn't how the club does things these days. We're not going to throw a new keeper straight into the first team whatever happens, so even as an emergency to cover Ali's injury, it won't help.

Iím not saying we definitely will. But yesterday had to be a wake up call. And, if we can find the right keeper - It might help.

Such an unexpected problem to have. Needing a capable back up keeper.

Whatís Buffon up to these days?
