Nope i think he has a year or two left too.
I agree with Jaco about most things (apart from the binary number shite he posted a week or so ago.....had to take a break after that) and I agree here too. Jesus would be a brilliant player for us. He works hard and would fit across the front line - would love to see LFC take him. I think he would need to sit out his contract though and for us to sign him on a free transfer for it to happen. I think City would rather let him be pissed off on the bench for a year rather than sell him to us

Arsenal have been all in, trying to get Jesus to sign. Don't think there's any way they would sell to us, unless his contract is expiring

From what I've seen, previous to this game, he doesn't look anything special and you can quote me on this in a couple of years

Our own Lucas Levia looked an amazing attacking player when he was playing in South America.

Jesus is a quality player, works hard, great movement and a natural finisher. I think he'll definitely be gone from City and there will be a hell of alot of clubs after him.

Tim Vickery has been bigging this new City signing up, A forward with the brain of a midfielder is, or the other way round can;t remember
He thinks he is one of the best players to come out of South America for a while.

I don't understand how they've got him for only £14m?

Luis Diaz left South America for something like 8m.
Miltao went from there to Porto for 4m
14m is actually a big fee to pay given he is totally unproven and not gone to a lesser European league first.
They are taking a punt on him actually being good enough to make the jump from the league he is in to the PL.

Yeah normally Premier League clubs don't sign direct from the South American leagues. I think the transition straight into Premier League football is pretty hard.
We'll see how he gets on. Possibility he will be loaned out?

Probably bullshit if he's as good as they say he is. There'll be money funnelled in elsewhere.

Gini Wijnaldum. Now try to unsee Gini in it.
Though I think the eyebrow should give it away. Think of a player who had a pigeon eat part of his eyebrow.

With the eyebrow I assumed Foden, but given that if it is him they've got so much else wrong I'm not sure you can rely on that

Selling Jesus and Sterling totals 49 goals and assists last season. Quite a risk?

I dunno... maybe I am grasping at straws.

It’s hard to see Haaland “failing” but he doesn’t seem suited to Pep’s style of play based on what we’ve seen of him……… I’m clutching at those same straws

If still of the belief Haaland is going to get kicked about by some of the journeymen cloggers in the PL.

He’s been injured a lot, think he only scored in three games for Dortmund since the end of Jan this year

I think he will score a lot, but not hit the heights many think he will. Think his injury record will have to improve a lot too for him to have the impact City want him to have.
Including when he was playing in Norway, he has only managed to play more than 20 league games (including appearance from the bench) in a season three times and never managed 30 league games in a single season.

Nah he is not getting kicked around by the cloggers. He is 6'4 or 6'5 and well capable of looking after himself

Bigger target for them to kick.
It’s not like they have to have a straightener with him

Not like he cannot give back as good as he gets though.
If we think Haaland is going to get kicked about in the PL, then I suppose the smaller Nunez is going to get an even worse kicking yeah?

Grasping at the same straws, Jesus and Sterling seem robust and reliable as well, don't remember them being injured a lot. The first half of the season will be super hectic, hopefully to much for Haaland.
