I think it absolutely is. But at the same time, it needs calling out and if that's what it takes, then so be it. I really hope that they push hard on it

This is a good thing example of not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. Whatever motives La Liga have, they're better than any motives any of the owners or PSG and all the fuckin rest have for anything.

You gents are right but of all the leagues to be banging the drum it’s ironic that it’s La Liga . Hopefully it gathers pace & some other federations get involved.

La Liga have Real and Barca behind them. Two of the biggest 3 or 4 clubs in the world. They also have the arrogance/belief that they also can do what they want. The PL doesn't have any of that, and the PL are weak. If they had any kind of strength they'd be doing their own broadcasting and not leaving it to others.

Fuck real and Barca, they have also played their part in over inflating the market to ridiculous levels over the years.
PSG and City shouldn’t be allowed to do what they do but I don’t think those two from Spain can be on their high horse.

Real and barca are only arsed because they see themselves losing their dominance in the transfer market and now speak up. Yes, it's a bit cheeky given their level of corruption but anything that helps to stop city, psg, Newcastle and others from taking the piss to a whole new level must be seen as a good thing

We were below Real and Barca money wise anyway. To go below the oily journalist murdering human rights abusers is a joke.

Turkeys not voting for Christmas shocker
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61923886
Paris St-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi acquitted in Fifa media rights investigation.
Paris St-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been cleared of corruption by a Swiss appeals court.
Ex-Fifa secretary general Jerome Valcke was also cleared of the same charge but in a separate case was found guilty of accepting bribes and forging documents.
Valcke, 61, was given an 11-month prison sentence and a fine of 20,000 Swiss francs (£17,000), both suspended.
Swiss prosecutors were appealing a ruling from October 2020 by the Swiss Federal Criminal Court.
The charges related to World Cup TV rights at a time when Valcke was general secretary of football's world governing body.
Al-Khelaifi, also chairman of the European Club Association and a member of Uefa's executive committee, was acquitted of inciting Valcke to commit aggravated criminal mismanagement and the appeals court backed that decision in a written judgement published on Friday.
Further covering up and whitewashing in the article.

I suspect that will be a useful distinction for FIFA to make when if/when the Qatar WC is investigated
