However, I do look forward to looking back at the incredible memories from the Klopp era. They will have been a wild rollercoster ride, and some of the best times we have known as supporters. But ultimately, it will have been best for all parties to move on, what with Germany needing a new manager in 2021.

I have a song for him already:
To the tune of Nellie the Elephant:
Jurgen the German has come to town
He said goodbye to Dortmund
He's taking us up, to the top of the league
Klopp, Klopp, Klopp
Feel free to shoot it down, add to it, ignore it...

He wasn't really high profile though, probably due to his personality.

I'd say Klopp's profile is way higher though.

I was nearly running out the house half dressed shouting abuse out the sky, I have so little trust in our club I'm still nervous at this point.

This is great! It feels like the right appointment, the complete opposite of the last time around, where we were watching Martinez meeting Henry in Miami and Shaggy incredulous at Liverpool having a manager called Brendan.
This feels ambitious, and like it's going to be a hell of a ride!

Fuck ya Dom, I was hoping I was going to be the first to lament his passing. Oh well, roll on 3 years time and our pursuit of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (insert name of flavour of the month manager).

The press room at Anfield is going to be packed tomorrow. It's going to be 'Jurgen Klopp Day'. Every interview listened to repeatedly. Every picture cummed over.
It's going to be fantastic.

I was hoping for Ancellotti, but Klopp seems like the next best out there so let's hope that he brings us some success without it becoming another false dawn.
Good luck Jurgen
