Mane has just reminded me of a player who made me hang my boots up. He was as fast as fuck... he only came on for 10 minutes and i think i fouled him five times in that period.
Pace is deadly to defend against, so hopefully he gets some consistency.

It sucks getting old. I play a game on the floor with my kids for tenminutes and I can't move when I get up. I won't even talk about the karate lessons my sons bent my arm into doing with him....
Anyway, good luck Mane. Enjoy ut while you can you'll be creaky and old like us before you know it.

Be curious to see how Ayew does again for Swansea this year. He’s another player that Klopp tried to sign for Dortmund and ticks a lot of the boxes that Mane does, but would have cost a lot less. Probably could have did a straight swap for Allen, if Klopp has no plans to keep him.

Not that I'm aware, Soton put a price on him which was said to be 40m but they clearly never believed that if 30m was reached so quickly.

His name is going on my shirt this season ... he will scare the life out of defenses this season ... its almost like having Suarez back in the team ... that direct pace and I do not care who is in front me attitude he shows gets you up off your seat every time ...brilliant signing

He takes no shit. Demands the ball, but more importantly our players look to give it him at every opportunity. Just like with Suarez. Straight into my FF team before his price keeps rising.

Looks good & long may it last. The main doubt others had about him was his consistency so let's hope he can put that doubt to bed.

It's a look of arrogance IMO. Like he thinks every fan that's turned up is there to see him & him alone.

Gonna be a god here, they were completely terrified every time he touched the ball. He's an animal defensively aswell which is a nice bonus.

What a player he is. For the first time since Suarez we have a player with pace up top who can run at defences and get round the back.

Offers the whiff of sulphur in attack. Just need to know how best to mix the elements around him and maybe just maybe move him more central - just a thought.

Frightening pace and seemingly knows where the net is. He's going to cause a few defences some issues this season.

he certainly has that 'put the shits up other teams' factor.

Yeah I wasn't sure how good he was....I knew he added much needed pace but didn't know much more than that...battled/worked hard today, always looked a threat with ball at his feet, skilful, goal threat...£30m seemed a lot but in this market it's a great signing

Electric. Loved the way just turn on the afterburners to get to a ball he had no right in winning.

There was a fair amount of whinging from the fam when we were after him, hopefully he keeps performances like that coming to show them the folly of their ways. Give people a chance. Klavan another example simple because he wasn't a 30m quid CB that everyone's heard of.

Did really well today & if he keeps that up no one will mention the price tag again.
