I reckon I could hit a whole bucket of balls and not get one to finish up on that 17th green
Amazing how many professionals legs go to jelly hitting that shot in front of a packed crowd.

Anyone having a flutter on the Masters?
Had a shortlist of about 10 but I'm not into backing more than 3, so I've gone for Rahm, Cam Smith and Patrick Reed.

Cam Smith seems to be a popular choice, I played golf yesterday and quite a few of the lads at the club were saying they were going to back him.

Not sure of his finishes but he's gone very well at Augusta the last couple of times. Down to around 12s now after his brilliant win at the Players recently (where my dad had Ł50 e/w on him at 33/1 ffs). He's the best putter on the tour imo.

Rahm……. Not like you to back him Those are solid picks but DJ has got to be in the mix also - playing well and has the long game for Augusta
I might do something but will have to do a bit of research first

4 years ago I committed to backing Rahm every year until he wins it.
Backed him at every major too until he won one as well, US Open last year. Given that up now he's off the mark but ploughing on at Augusta until he wins one.

Great player that he is he’s definitely suffering with his putting at the moment so not sure he’ll have the all round game to win.🤷🏽🤷🏽

Yeah the last few tournaments his putting has fallen apart. I'm hoping Augusta, which he loves, will get it going again.
Ridiculous amount of live contenders though - the likes of Scheffler, DJ, Thomas etc. The usual suspects really. I thought Reed's game looked great at the Matchplay so 55/1 is a great price for him.

They all look great but one bad round and you’re fucked……. so many you can make an argument for. Casey likes it there as well and in form

Impossible to see the winner not coming from the top 12 in the betting. Scheffler or Schauffele to win for me.

its insane
Don't think he'll decide until Thursday if he's going to play. The golf is fine but he physically can't handle the walk. Give him a buggy imo.

When I watched Tiger at the PNC championships before Christmas his swing looked good but I didn’t think he’d be physically capable of doing 4 rounds at Augusta so I had him making his Majors comeback at St. Andrews for the 150th Open as he loves it there but fuck me if he plays this weekend he really is a machine.

95/1 for him to win and 9/1 for a top ten finish is almost tempting

Who with?
tempting as a cash out after 2 rounds, He could struggle to complete all 4 rounds understandably.

betfair exchange, best doing two separate bets. For the win and place. Win is 100/1. Place is now 8/1

Wouldn't take much for his odds to drop down before Thursday and you could withdraw stake and let the rest ride. Alternatively he gets injured or course conditions make it difficult for him.

yes, can only get 60/1 at BEt365.
If he starts well the bookies will shit the bed and his odds will tumble so should be some good cash out chances.

That is absolutely mental. Literally the last I was aware he was getting his body pulled out of a mangled car with some talk of amputation.

Harrington in the lead at the minute!
I had golf lessons for the first time in my life recently. Fuck me it's an eye-opener seeing your pathetic golf swing analysed on video
I look like I'm about to fall over, and it's so far removed from the professionals that you'd think I'm playing a different sport. Humbling

Think Tiger will be a bit disappointed with most his shots so far, still scoring fine though. Absolutely insane.
